For those that haven’t tried it themselves, cross-breeding two different strains is much easier said than done. Yet, somehow, Dutch Passion continues to master this artful craft with their choicely superior strains, and Dutch Cheese is no exception. An elegant cross between the member of the Skunk family, Euforia and a Cheese strain, this potent hybrid has quickly become a favorite in the medical marijuana community.
She’ll thrive when grown indoors or in a greenhouse, but can be cultivated outside in a more mild climate. Dutch Cheese flowers for a very reasonable 8 - 10 weeks, all the while building up her decadent flavors and potency. Like many Skunk crosses, Dutch Cheese isn’t terribly difficult to grow, but may need support during late-maturity due to her shapely and sizely buds.
If it comes down to choosing between UK Cheese and Dutch Cheese (two of the most common Cheese varieties) I’d definitely go with Dutch Cheese. Robust and seemingly melty flavors of aged cheddar (literally), spicy sativa and danky skunk will linger tastefully on your taste buds, long after you’ve exhaled. Many patients are tricked by this strain, thinking it is weak, until the high reaches full effect, which has been known to take up to half-an-hour. A true creeper strain that sells for around $55 an eighth at most Northern California dispensaries.
