Named for the web-like leaf structure this strain displays while growing, resembling a duck’s foot. Wally Duck created one of the best overall sativa-dominant strains in terms of medical value by crossing an unnamed sativa with one of his own strains.
Bred solely for outdoor cultivation, Ducksfoot thrives in temperate climates such as her native Australia. She can be grown outdoors in temperate areas of the Northern Hemisphere, such as Arizona, California and parts of Colorado, although the quality and quantity of the harvest will suffer slightly. Flowering between 9 and 11 weeks, she’ll be ready for harvest at the end of October. It’s recommended to feed her organic root growth supplements early in her life to establish the strong roots necessary to support her full size. A typical harvest can be expected to be between 1 and 1 ½ lbs from her. She’s also one of the few strains that is suitable for an outdoor sea of green environment.
The buds smell somewhat like cannabis, but maybe more like a musky, floral closet. The taste however is nothing short of spectacular, with flavors of coffee, spice, cocoa and cinnamon permeating every taste bud on you tongue.
