Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: The initial high from Deep Spook is a soaring blend of cerebral and body stimulation. After around 20 minutes it transitions into more of a relaxed body high. Almost every muscle in the body will feel relaxed. It's not an overly potent effect, just more of a soothing, medicinal one.
The Deep Chunk mother adds a heavy yield and potency to this strain, while the Nepalese Highland brings down the flowering time and increases resistance to pests and diseases. Deep Spook has a very bland flavor of pine, with an ever-so-slight hint of citrus present on the exhale. No other flavors are really present with this one. Despite the lack of flavor, however, Deep Spook provides exceptional medicinal relief, and though it hasn't been tested, is though to be incredibly high in CBD content. THC content is likely to be average to above average, at best. This is a great strain for someone who doesn't like to be overwhelmed by an incredibly potent high, but requires relief from certain medical ailments. Deep Spook is best-suited to treat stress, muscle spasms, nausea, cachexia and even Lou Gehrig's disease. This strain is available in several dispensaries in Portland, Oregon for $40 to $45 per eighth.
Many growers like to make potent hash out of the trimmings from this strain, since it will produce a lot of sugar leaves. It's suited to grow indoors or outdoors, but shouldn't be cultivated in a greenhouse unless adequate CFMs are circulating the greenhouse. Deep Spook should be vegetated around 6 weeks, before forcing flowering. This will produce a heavy yield, while keeping the height down to around 4 or 5 feet at finish, when cultivating indoors. By far, this strain is one of the most beautiful plants to watch grow. During middle to late flowering the fan leaves begin to turn crimson and lavender, as nitrogen is pulled from them. The buds gain a slight blue hue at finish, making for an overall beautiful strain. These ladies can do well when fed heavy nutrients and given a 3-week flush. Deep Spook is a strain that should be added to everyone's garden at least one time.
