Dark Vader
Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Straight out of the Hindu Kush mountain range - well not really, but originally, this heavy indica bud sends you immediately on a couch-lock-induced high that will cure even the most chronic of backaches or other pain or insomnia.
To get this marvelous strain, the breeder crossed Hindu Kush with an Afghani strain. The resulting strain was not so named for its coloration (rather it is fairly light in color) but rather for the ominous, dark high it provides, sending even the most experienced of users into a trance-like state no more active than a vegetable. The flavors are of hash, skunk, earth and incense and give you an almost immediate sensation of peace and tranquility.
Most growers who add Dark Vader to their arsenal, report a consistent 8 to 9 week flowering period that only requires 4 weeks of prior vegetative growth. When grown outdoors, gardeners can expect to harvest this bud by the middle of September. The yield outdoor should be considerably more than the rather dismal one you’ll typically see when growing Dark Vader indoors. However, what these ladies lack in quantity, they more than make up for in quality. Just grab some clones or seeds and see for yourself.
