Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Without a doubt, Chiesel is one of the best tasting strains. Flavors of citrus, grapefruit, kush, diesel, hash and dank permeate your taste buds, leaving you with a relaxing high with a near equal mix of cerebral and body stimulation
About 5 years ago famed breeder, Soma, gave some prime seeds of NYC Diesel and UK Cheese. A male phenotype of UK Cheese was selected to breed with the Diesel mother. The result was the illustrious strain, Chiesel, that we now have. 3 years ago, the Chiesel project was completed and seeds were feminized by backcrossing it with itself.
This strain takes on the growing traits of its mother, UK Cheese, growing tall and open, but with lots of branches. The leaves however are more similar to an indica, being dark-green and broad. She also thrives best with minimal pruning and when fed more nutes than normal. Growing dense and slender, the buds give off a stinky, Kush/diesel smell that can often fill an entire house with its pungent aroma. Chiesel has a fairly long flowering time of 9 to 11 weeks. When harvested at 11 weeks, the buds taste more like grapefruit and Kush than diesel, hash and dank. When harvested around 9 weeks, the flavor is more reminiscent of its mother, UK Cheese.
This strain is ideal for socializing, treating depression and even allowing couples to regain long-lost intimacy. This hybrid is also suitable for treating minor aches and pains, arthritis and nausea. The effect is upbeat and energetic but allows for a good amount of relaxation. Chiesel will typically go for around $50 an eighth at most dispensaries.
