Part of the illustrious line of medical marijuana, known as Chemdog, Chemdawg-4 (also known as Chem-4) is widely considered the best and most potent strain of this line. Unlike the other Chemdog strains, Chem-4 is indica-dominant and will pack a punch like no other. The medicate effect begins very cerebrally for the initial 5 or 10 minutes tricking many patients into thinking it’s a sativa. However after this initial spurt of headiness, Chem-4 will often lock even the most seasoned of smokers into a hopeless state of couch-lock. The buds are light-green and some of the most frosted buds out there, plain and simple. They sometimes don’t even smell like weed when smoked, and more like a danky chemical burning. However, the effect of this is definitely more than most cannabis.

While growing, she has shown to be extremely vigorous and is resistant to most pests and diseases, while rewarding growers with great yields, as well as highly potent medication. She grows very bushy and may require pruning her inner leaves to allow maximum light and air-flow to her inner branches. A fairly tall plant, she’ll reach up to 7 feet outdoors and 4 to 5 feet indoors, flowering for 9 - 10 weeks.

This strain is great. It grows short and squat. This is due to it being indica dominant. Its structure is also extremely BUSHY. So if height is an issue for you, pick a few chem-4 up. they have little to no stretch during flowering. And they produce.. not only with resin, but with wieght. Great strain. Love to breed it into a sativa line.

Chem4 is a pleasure. I call her "the blanket" because she makes you calm and happy. The indica side is obvious but there is a sativa side to her as well. Being an Afgan/Mexican she is nicely balanced. BTW, Ocean Grown Kush is also 50/50, sometimes with more citrus notes due to the Thai in her from the Thai/Paki male. But one of the great things about CHEM4 is her ability to cut through just about anything else. Fantastic herb.

Chem#4 is amazing. Only smoke concentrates and the wax I medicated with had a total of 84% Cannabinoids. THC 81% CBD 1.6%. Definitely great medication for all described about PROP 215 all day everyday!

Good review.. Im havesting this strain today and it is definitly a good strain with high yields.. But whoever grew the ones from the sample pictures need to switch there nutes cause mines is way huger than that one.. But overall this strain is fire and i personally like this strain along with og kush

Just trying to see what this site is saying is true. So you're saying this is an indica dominant strain but even ChemDawg called this the reunion pheno. Is it just me or doesn't this mean that it's like the original OG Kush which is Sativa dominant. Which would make this a sativa dominant hybrid? Even the leaves on the vid resemble a sativa hybrid. I think some vendors are confusing Chem D with Chem 4 creating a lot of confusion in the collectives. They look similar but Chem-4 has an over powering lemon candy smell, and Chem D has a spicy citrus smell with earthy undertones.

This strain has a strong unnatural smell, but a nice flavor. The body high was quite intense, but enjoyable. Very trippy stuff, lightweights beware. nice big dense buds that just explode with flavor after every hit. the buds are just covered in crystals inside and out. nice steady heavy high that last for a while.

@James, also take into consideration that cultivating weed with CFL lighting is not known to produce top-shelf buds, but rather mass quantity in an extremely short amount of time. I'm not saying your opinioned is flawed whatsoever, just pointing out what may have caused the strain not to come out terribly potent.

This strain is only mediocre for my tastes. It seems to lack in potency. It is definitely more rugged than refined as far as weed strains go.

Absolutely indestructible. I had a friend who was vegging one of these under CFL's, and besides sprouting up like a magical beanstalk, it ended up being snapped in half by a faulty fixture. We propped it up with stakes and taped the stem back together, and in less than a week, it was producing new leaves again. Ended up making some really smelly, reasonably sticky, but pretty leafy midgrade. Highs are low, stoney and last forever.
