Chemdawg
Cannabissearch.com Buzz rating: Spicy, fruity and slightly sour taste. Intoxicating powerful aroma. This strain is extremely high in potency.
Common misconception is that Chemdog is a cross between OG Kush and Sour Diesel. To the contrary, Chemdog originally was grown in Montana and eventually sold to growers in Massachusetts and Colorado. Temporarily, Chemdog quit coming from Colorado and Montana and was left solely with a grower in Massachusetts who went by the name Chemdog. Ten female seeds came from this strain and the first one became known as Chemdog '91. The remaining seeds were returned to Colorado and grown there. The misconception that Chemdog is presided by OG Kush most likely stems from the fact that Chemdog was renamed OG Kush upon arriving in Southern California.
This strain is considered somewhat high-maintenance in the fact that it is highly susceptible to gray mold and powder mildew. It thrives in environments where the humidity is less than 60%. Chemdog also requires vigilance with regards to pruning. For a flavor that is unrivaled, organically growing it is highly recommended.
Chemdog is an amazing strain that offers potency that most strains simply cannot compete with. Very subtle but noticeable psychedelic experiences are not uncommon with this type of marijuana.

With that in mind, I don't even bother reviewing strains that aren't top shelf-quality. And, I've got a super bomb Chem Dawg hybrid right now. It's crossed with San Fernando Valley Lemon OG, and it's so potent that taking a hit of it feels like getting kicked in the chest by a mule. Your fingers get coated with pine tar when you break it open, and it's got a spicy/citrusy smell, with a hint of earthiness to it. The smell isn't overpowering, but the taste is. However, it's not that easy of a smoke, unless you break it up really well, because the buds are so dense and sticky. But it smokes pretty nicely once you get it going. Let's just say, I'm a very experienced smoker, and even I don't like smoking this stuff in the morning. It's too heavy. Definitely a bedtime strain.

on the real tho. ive always been a found of this strain. i was very interested to find out that southern cali kids call it OG KUSH. but to either name does this bud stand up too. the nugs are hug and this shit is DANKKKKK. all the weed heads no what i mean. ;] stay high.
Chemdawg usually comes in a piney almost citrus-ish flavor. The smoke is thick but not harsh.
I really enjoy Chemdawg because it is just an all-around happy high.
