Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: The high hits users immediately, beginning with a pressure in the head and face, that gradually moves downward, to become a full body high, with slight cerebral effects as well.
Cali Sunrise has large, dense buds that have long, wavy orange pistils, and an aroma of citrus and spice. The breeder created this spectacular strain by backcrossing a Californian Orange onto itself, resulting in a strain that has enhanced qualities of its parent. This means both the good and bad qualities have been enhanced. The flavor and potency is one of the better qualities that has been enhanced, with this crossing. Users will find a long-lasting and enjoyable buzz that is suitable for daytime or nighttime use.
One of the downsides to Cali Sunrise is that it won't do particularly well outdoors. Once temperatures drop below 60 degrees, this strain will begin to suffer immensely. For that reason only indoor or greenhouse cultivation is recommended. Greenhouse cultivation is still not recommended in northern climates, where the temperatures reach below 50 degrees F at night. This is a strain that flowers for right around nine weeks, indoors and will be ready for harvest by the beginning of October, when cultivated in a greenhouse. Yields are consistently average, at best, providing large main colas, making this a suitable choice for a Sea of Green garden.
