Of those members that make up the Blue family of cannabis, the Blue Moonshine strain of marijuana is one of the earliest to mature. She's ready for harvest in just about 60 days, and she is a true connoisseur's treat. Her appearance, aroma, taste and buzz are all stellar. Trichrome-blanketed buds grow dense and sticky as this beautiful, Indica-dominant medicinal miracle thrives to full blossom! And though she doesn't yield extra-heavily, you can count on optimal quality and potency levels. In fact, that's just how it is: if a strain is a super-heavy yielder, then it probably lacks in one area or another when compared to a medium yielder. There are reasons why breeders decide to develop strains that do not yield heavily; taste, smell, density, quality and potency being amongst the top.

if you put a gun to my head and asked me to name the best damn all around smoke to be shipwrecked on a deserted island with a bunch of naked amazonian chicks to keep me company i would have to say blue moonshine :)
when i picked it up dude called it old time moonshine and later told me it was blu moonshine i disagree with the fact that blu strains are rare i have different strains for different things i use the blu moonshine for pain blue dream to sleep and relax and blu cheese to get stoned hindi kush is also good for pain
This is one of my favorite strains of all time :) Indica dominant the nugs are rock hard, blue with pink hairs and the taste is similar to blue cotton candy and the potency is 9.4 out of 10 pretty much laughter followed by munchies followed by couchlock buzz zzzzz :) DJ Short is the breeder of this strain however it's discontinued now apparently all of his crop somehow died BUT he sold some of his plants to Dutch Passion Seed Company back in the 90's and they can be obtained at Attitude Seeds at present :)
Im about to pick up this beauty to add to the garden and according to the Cannabible it is from the dj shorts breeders and is a cousin to blueberry with genetics leaning towards juicy fruit, the high is thick and warm with in my opinion is like blue dream on steroids on the flavor side.
Wonder if they got this name from moonshine? You know like you see in the movies, white lightening? It kind of hit me like a bolt of lightening so maybe. The effects were all over tingles. Felt the warmth rush over me to wipe away any remnants of pain I had.
Blue strains are very rare. I had some blue moonshine a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing. Strong body high. I could feel the aches in my back fading away. Good bud to smoke and rest away your pains.
Hey when you just say moonshine you know there is going to be a creeping effect. Don't know where they got this but I got to try it and it really snuck up on me and put me on my knees, had to watch the head rush it causes if you move too fast. But it did the trick on the pain I deal with. A definite thumbs up to this little beauty.
