I've been growing this stain for years and absolutely love it.. One thing is be careful on how close it is to your lights.. I've found it grows a seed at the tippy top if its too close compared to my other strains.. Also you can dramatically increase yield by super cropping, lolli-popping and tying her down.. I once had a 15 inch veggie to bloom yield over an oz:) happy timez everyone!!

banana kush is named for the shape and size of the buds, not the smell or taste. the buds have a yellowish hue when growing, it does not taste like bananas in the slightest, i have grow it for yrs.

I like growing it. The room smells great. It has a definate Tropical smell.
The high is what my patients like. It last a long time if you go to 8 wks.
Looks like Jack Herer growing, but has a less sweet taste, more tropical, like I mentioned.

By far the strongest plant ive grown will grow perfect in anything from hydro to soil strong not the best yeilding but very sticky with a sweet bannana smell. Its always sticky but when grown right the buds get so sticky you can stick them on a wall i tried to playing around and it worked lol

I have never tried this amazing strain but as luck would have it 4 weeks ago a good friend found a nugget and it had one seed and it now is in week 3 of veg at 12" tall under a UFO LED. With my cronic back and neck pains I impatiently await the yield and from all I keep reading I will definately not be disappointed. At any rate boy or girl will be truely appreciated and accepted being that 2 other unidentified strains are by BK's side and I will take a cross rather than nothing any day but BK is definately getting cloned.

Well, I have never had BK before but my friend came across a nugget 4 weeks ago and with all the luck in the world found one seed and now it is in the 3rd weeek of veg. This thing grows like a weed, pun intended. 12" tall under a LED UFO. With my cronic back and neck problems I am in such anticipation to see the yield. With all I keep reading, I'm sure not to be disapointed. Also at this point male or female will be pleasently accepted being that I have 2 others that are unidentified strains that I will gladly cross with but for sure I will be cloning this bad girl as I say with high hopes.

Went to a club in Cali (San Jose) to be exact and bought an eighth of banana kush and found 1 plant left for sale. It was Banana Kush as welly and i'm glad i bought it because it smells great and it wont stop growing. Its by far the strongest and healthiest plant that i have had yet. Very Pleased!!

I am growing 2 seeds of banana og kush right now. They are definitely some stinky little children for only being a foot tall and they have huge leaves. If you look around you will find the banana kush in seed form. I wish I knew how to post pictures from my phone and I would show you guys. Thanks for all the lovely reviews and a chance to see what I can be expecting here in about 12 weeks. I do intend to cross and make an inbred line. you will see banana kush in the future, of this you can be certain. I am a banana kush fanatic and have it in many crossings. To my understanding mark castle created the strain. This is my first time growing banana kush but not smoking it It is truely of a kush.

Banana Kush is a great Indica dominant hybrid that makes any day better. I haven't had some in so long, it seemed to be around more when I first got my card three years ago. It was very sticky and a nice heavy high that would help me sleep at the end of a long day. Any time that there is an opportunity to get some I would jump on it!

As I was enjoying some Vanilla Kush this evening, while reflecting back at my first experience enjoying Banana Kush. I LOVE many of the Kush strains in the Kush family, and this one is right up there! It has a good fast effect for calming, help relax, and reflect on happy spheres. It does have this unique cool banana taste too. Recommended.

Oh the banana kush is some happy smoke. I hit a joint of this stuff from CVC Fresno, right before a jazz gig. I was definitely goovin on it. Great sativa feeling while still giving you that heavy indica after effect. I would recommend for an afternoon smoke.

Seriously this is bananas, how could you go wrong? The high was a full body effect but left me feeling intensely alive. I like the kush varieties and I think this is my favorite.

I absolutely love bananas, and now I love banana kush as much. This stuff hits you real hard and makes you feel so awesome it is a dream to have the feeling start at your toes and work it's velvety fingers all the way up your body.

Absolutely one of my favorite strains. I've only been able to get ahold of it once but man is it great. I didn't quite expect it to be so strong and make me feel so great, cause it doesn't look like it would pack much of a punch. It looks really basic, very long leaves that intertwine to provide it a sort of thickness. Very happy and uplifting high, make you want to just smile and relax. You have no problems on this stuff and it is crazy stony! Really heady in my opinion. Great stuff, could smoke it everyday forever. There are only a few strains that i could do that with, but this is one of them.

I picked up some really good outdoor Banana kush from North Valley Holistic Health in Chico,CA. It had a wonderful sweet/fruity taste to it that goes down really smooth. Banana kush is an indica that will lock you to your couch and really relax you. I didn't find the high to be overwhelming or really sleepy but just right to puff right after work. I always enjoy a good kush of any sort and when Banana kush comes around make sure to give it a try, it is guaranteed to not disappoint.

Don't know where they got banana from I didn't taste any banana flavor. I rated it high, lasted for me a long time. I say it is a most excellent purchase, needs to be dried proper. Know your limits with this one it will put you down.

Got the chance to try this, and with the banana flavoring I was happy. They said it was almost equal on indica and sativa, I'm still learning which one works best for me. It really tasted great, smelled really like bananas, but I wish for me it had lasted longer, although guess that just means smoke sooner next time.

Got a warm and fuzzy feeling from the first toke and it reminded me of eating some banana bread. The taste is really amazing and nice instant feeling of relaxation. Not an overbearing effect and usual Kush duration. I only see this every once in awhile so I am always happy to see this on a dispensary menu.

Banana kush is a potent indica, delivering a head rush upon exhaling. The bud is soft but dense and really does smell and taste like bananas! The high is very calming and I would classify it as a strong head high. It is almost even nulling. Even though it has a strong head high, Banana kush doesnt necessarily produce a thc-induced slumber but rather a calming, couch-lock sensation. Banana Kush doesnt come around often, but for patients like myself who prefer a wide variety of tastes and rare highs, Banana kush delivers an intriguing banana taste to it that is hard to pass up.
