Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: This high is mostly a body stone, lasting around an hour. It can cause drowsiness, but usually generates an incredibly relaxed and tranquil feeling, not necessarily rendering users tired. It is still good for insomnia though, because of these relaxing effects.
Banana Joint produces buds that are medium in size and have a pleasant aroma of tropical fruit with a flavor of earth, hash and a slight fruity aftertaste. However, when ingested through a vaporizer the flavor changes to taste exactly like the candy, Skittles. This isn't a strain that is renowned for potency but is perhaps one of the best-tasting through a vaporizer. For that fact alone it should be a sought-after strain. Expect eighths to range between $45 and $50.
Most growers who cultivate Banana Joint like to allow them to vegetate at least 4 or 5 weeks before forcing flowering indoors. Once flowering, they will be ready after 8 or 9 weeks. Outdoors growers can expect to harvest by the beginning of October. Banana Joint also produces tons of frosty sugar leaves, with a low calyx-to-leaf ration. These trichome-covered sugar leaves make for excellent hash makings. One of the downsides about this strain is that it is not at all resistant to PM so growers need to ensure that they have plenty of ventilation, when growing indoors. On the same note, this is not a suitable bud for humid areas, such as the South or East Coast.
