Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: In a true indica fashion, this strain starts off by providing flavors of hash, dank and earth, while thus providing a highly sedative yet not necessarily couch-lock-inducing high that is ideal for medical marijuana patients sufering from Parkinson's Disease, multiple sclerosis, vomiting and more.
Don’t worry about potentially supporting terrorists when you grow some top-shelf Afghanica, as it has been adapted to be the strain it is all in the great USA. While no terrorists were involved in creating this strain, your pain will be terrorized by the highly medicating qualities of Afghanica.
While this strain is highly suitable for indoor, outdoor or greenhouse cultivation, she much prefers an organic medium with mediocre amounts of nutrients being added. With this strain, it’s recommended to induce flushing 10 days before harvest when grown in soil and 5 days prior to harvest when grown hydroponically. She’ll flower for 8 - 9 weeks, being ready for outdoor harvest by the middle of October. It’s also recommended to top this strain when not grown in a SoG setup. Afghanica will generally be seen for around $55 an eighth at most dispensaries, mainly due to the fact that it is and always will remain a top-shelf strain.
I thought that this was all indica, but now I see that it is a hybrid. The dispensary I got it from said that it was. Either way, this was an extremely frosty strain that worked well to make me sleep and sedated. The smell was kind of off for me.
when I picked up a clone from the local dispesary last march ,along with some very popular strains like vanilla kush, and blue widow , I thought that the more popular strains would dominate my patients demands , guess what? the afghanica blew both of the popular strains out of the water as far as patient satisfaction and quality , I no longer grow the more popular strains as before and am also using it to cross with other potent strains that have proven themselves in my caregiver business like white russian and poison durban , as a grower afghanica has been a pleasant surprise and it does not take up too much room in the growroom , yields good buds for it size , I like the fact that I can function after smoking it and does not give you a hangover effects like most indica dominant strains
The indica side effects were really strong for me and took me to places that made me really glad I had chosen it. The pain relief is beyond what I need so it made for a great day.
When you have one of the Afghan strains you will definitely know it. I loved the way this put me down for the night and I enjoyed the whole relaxed feeling.
at 1st was kinda skeptical about this strain being its an afghan strain (i normally dont like the couch lock that i brings me), but when i loaded it into my bowl and took my 1st hit, i realized that this was gonna be a good high. the taste was as potent as the smell. the texture was nice and fluffy but as sticky as i normally like em. it was a VERY potent strain that lasted for quite some time...it wasnt so much a couch lock kinda high...it was a more mellow, calm high. overall: 9.5/10 great strain, loved it...will definitely but more when i see it next
A definite hit among the best, a buddy grew a crop and when we finally got to test drive the sweet smelling stuff. Oh yeah it was there. The indica sides stood out strong and hit hard.
