Roor bongs

Roor medical bongs

Handcrafted by Martin Birzle and his select team of skilled glassware craftsmen, Roor bongs are another extremely fine, durable and efficient German-made glass smoking apparatus. Constructed using a 7mm-thick type of borosilicate glass known as Schott Duran Pyrex Tubing, Roor bongs can truly stand the test of time, bumps and small falls. Not that you’ll want to test that, as they range in price from $230 to $340 and can be purchased from www.smokewire.com.

Coming with or without percolators and ice-catchers, these beautifully designed bongs are crafted to produce the smoothest and biggest hit possible. Water at the bottom of the bong is bubbled to assist in cooling the smoke. The ice notches also help with further breaking the bubbles down and cooling the smoke even more. The glass tube is 50mm in diameter, making for a most aerodynamically smooth rip. These bongs are not cheap, but will save you in the long-run by how long they will last. You’ll also probably want to get a case for these masterpieces.

For a bong to me this is one of the most freaking awesome ones around. I love to use a bong and this brand is my absolute favorite.

I hope to be able to get me one of these of my own, they are kind of pricey for me. But I really enjoy smoking from my neighbors it really is smooth.

I had a cheap knock off RooR that I have had for 4 years that recently broke, I personally don't really think the quality of the glass changes much. I had a cheap knock off that hit very nice, didn't break for 4 years because of good care. I really feel that I might buy a good quality RooR because I smoke alone. I find that a good quality bong is always nice to have around, I enjoy the way roor tubes look as well. My only complaint with Roor is that they have a persona with them for people thinking you "think your cool" because you own a Roor tube. I just really like the logo, The quality of the glass and what not. I don't buy glass for the recognition like this brand implies.

Traditional Roor glass is sometimes imitated, so make sure to look at the label and see if it looks perfect. This was pretty much the first brand name in the glass industry for a great reason. These tubes are designed for minimal drag with a quick clear which leads to a seem-less thick lung tearing toke. The only complaint I have is that they do not generally reinforce there ground glass joints. I have lost 2 roor steamrollers because they rolled on their side and the joint cracked.

I really like the Roor products, they always make such quality pieces. I think that they somehow angle the glass to make the smoke build more before you inhale because the hits I get are always super thick. I prefer the straight ones with the glass lip on the bottom rather than the beaker shape, I feel like they are more sturdy. The ice catcher feature is nice and I know they come with a diffuser downstem, which is always nice. Overall they put a lot of work into these pieces so I think that they are worth the extra money, especially because the glass is so thick.

the ice REALLY makes the hit feel stronger...it tore me up as well as laid me out on the couch for a lil while lol. be beware of the imitation ones...they are thin and easy to break! i personally stick with the brand name ones, yea you are gonna pay a little bit more but the glass is thicker and its much harder to break. it pays itself off in the longrun lol

I had a Roor for about 6 months until a certain silly kitty knocked it off the coffee table. I was heart broken, but not for very long, because I found something comparable by Bio Hazard for about half the price at the Stuffed Pipe. I really like the fact that Roor allows their blowers to put a personal flair to the pipes, and the craftsmanship was unrivaled, but I felt like I paid a lot more for the Roor brand name than it was really worth. These Bongs will impress your friends and are of unmistakably high quality, but I would recommend shopping around if you want to stretch your bucks and still get a good piece.

Roors are top quality glass that is why they are very popular. Another great blower which is from the roor crew, is sheldon black which has come out with unbelivable pieces. I bought my girlfriend a roor a year ago, and she wont use anything but it. I think people are addicted to great hitting pieces.

I have used a few of these. I'm not sure what the hype is all about. I will say that they are great pieces, but I don't really notice anything that makes them stand apart from others that are similar. I would definitely look at other pieces before a RooR . I'm not buying it for the name, I want the quality and something that fits my preferences.

Beware the RooR, in every good way it can be said. These pieces have some sort of enchantment placed on them I'm sure, because from a simple tube of Borosilicate glass like to any other you would find at a head shop comes the whitest, most throat-tearingly pure and potent smoke imaginable. Perhaps it's the design of their downstems, or the size of the aperture in their bowls. I don't know why it is, but every time I've used a RooR I've only needed one hit to be sent into a coughing fit that I've returned a new man from. BUY ONE, if you can afford to sell a kidney for it.
