Im sorry but Dr. Claudia Jensen died over two years ago! Any doctor issuing Medical Marijuana recommendations in her named or clinics name is not legal per the California Medical Board. This is not a California Medical Corporation and this clinic has no FNP# which is mandatory per the CMB.. see here: www.legalinfowebsite.com and www.mbc.ca.gov NOT COOL GUYS!! You give MMJ a bad name!

Ok, I'm biased ~ the Jensen Clinic has taken care of my certification needs for five years and I couldn't be happier with their care & level of service -- I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

First the Bad News ~ sometimes they're slow - they take a lot of time with their patients, and even require new ones to come back for a follow-up visit before issuing permanent recommendation. The waiting room is comfortable, often convivial and has reading material including the current O'SHAUGHNESSY'S. There's a cafe downstairs, bookstore a block away and the old Ventura shopping district extends down the hill toward the Mission so shouldn't be much of a problem.

Their certification costs are high [$200 initial / $100 renewal] but you get what you pay for and this isn't a fly-by-night operation ~

The Good News .... clinic is named for a medical cannabis pioneer, the late Dr. Claudia Jensen [google her up] and staff is quite committed to her mission. The physician is a nutritionist ["the real kind, not the kind you see on TV" she says] from American University [DC] and the PA graduated from Brown; both are members of the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine.

They will quickly come to know you ~ you'll be greeted by name, and they may even call you at home to see how you're doing. They maintain scrupulous medical records and will stand behind you if harassed for legal activity [but really break the law and they'll drop you like a hot rock]. Based on nature of my condition and needs, I was granted a "Yield Letter" uncapping arbitrary possession limits.

I live in a nearby senior community and don't hesitate to send my neighbors and staff to the Jensen. Originally a pediatric clinic, they serve patients of all ages, including adolescents [they treated my father until his death at age 96].
