I think you can't blame the feds for this school shooting. It is true that they shouldn't be raiding Oaksterdam, but I feel that the person who was doing the shooting would get away with shooting at least a few people even if the feds went to the scene, because it would of course happen before they got there. They should be out there responding to real criminals and crimes, not marijuana schools, but there is a difference between response to a shooting and prevention of a shooting. I am all for legalization, then we can really free up the feds for what they should be doing. We also need to call for harsher gun control laws, especially in light of recent events with so many citizens going crazy and shooting each other.
wow only 500 yards away, but as you can see whats more important.I read that guy was there for a bit then drove to the store and then had to tell people he shot up the school!I'm so glad the police are here to protect us haha what a joke!
I don't think the article or any user is saying the shooting was the feds fault, I just think it says pretty strongly that the federal governments attentions, operations, investigations, and actions are often directed on the wrong target.
This is incredibly unfortunate. The DEA and US Marshalls know very well what their priorities should be. Them running from their real and more important duties by harassing places like Oaksterdam fools no one.

Boy, we have our priorities backwards in this country.
Reminds me of the FBI bugging and raiding a brothel in New Orleans weeks prior to 9-11. 60 Minutes did a piece on the brothel, and there was a made for tv movie, as well. After 9-11, a huge headline brought up the point that the feds were more interested in prostitutes in New Orleans then terrorists.
