At least they got a crack dealer of the streets. Especially one dumb enought to sell to a cop.

I don't agree with the fact that they entered a private residence without a search warrant. Even if the cops would say they had probable cause, due to smelling the smoke. But this man did obviously have his rights violated, but does that really surprise anyone? I mean look through out our history and see the numerous times that people have had their civil liberties violated. As far as dealing crack he should be punished, not for the weed though.

It doesn't matter if you sell crack or not, you still have rights. This was obviously a man with an unfortunate past, but that shouldn't effect how he is treated by police.

What B.S! Any other narcotic obtained without a warrant would have been thrown out in a minute. This guys rights were completely violated! I smell the conspiracy.
On another note, the fact that this guy was dealing crack should not be a big factor if it was not found at the scene; not all crack dealers did the drug, some dealers don't do any of the drugs but sell; and some leave the drug dealing game after incarceration and some don't.

This is clearly a violation of his rights. Murderers have been set free and evidence thrown out of court for not having a warrant. I don't encourage crack dealers, but agree with others that something's not right. Regardless of his past behavior that does not justify twisting the law to aid in his incarceration.

Good grief can no one see that we are really going backwards with the fight? This is a sad indication of the reality that the country really discriminates against the weed smoker. But when should our police ever be allowed to enter a residence without a search warrant, I say never. That's when. No matter what a person does in their past, should a cop be given free reign.
