my question is what is the problem all together if we actually legalize it and make it a cash crop we will go a long way to balancing the national deficit think about it people the farmers make money the truckers make money the factories make money and then we can tax it and let all those people who are in jail for pot go that is a lot of money
Well said Guest, there's a lot of potential benefits that could come from full-scale legalization. We just need to not rush into it unprepared like we in California did with Prop. 19 last year. If we legalize marijuana, first a plan must be made as to how/where it will be grown, transported, sold and how much can be grown on the allotted grow operations. Last year we really only covered how much residents could grow, who could buy it and how much. There were a lot of loopholes left that if it were legalized, the feds would have been on California's ass like flies on shit.

I would love for us to be able to reap the benefits of all the tax money that can be made from medical marijuana. Unfortunately the outdated industries that hemp would replaced do everything they can to prevent that from being a reality.

Todays prohibition on Marijuana and weather we like it or not many of the other drugs have given us Rouge Countries who cannot govern themselves and in alot of ways pose a security threat to our way of life. And all of this because closed minded people insist on believeing a 2000 year old fairy tale so that they can make the world a better place for THEM!! to live in...
Surprise, surprise that a politician goes back on his word. They are always saying what ever they think the crowd before them wants to hear. We always should just look to what their actions are and not words. Obama is once again using his actions to show us where he stands, and it is not on our side.
