The more we keep pushing for legalization (recreationally or medicinally) the greater the chance that one day marijuana users will cease to be persecuted by law enforcement. Any attempt at any sort of legalization is a good thing in my book.

I agree completely. The more that the issue is pushed out there, the more progress we will make. Even if Maryland does not end up passing the bill, the issue will still be considered by more of the citizens than if it hadn't been brought forward. At least those who represent the people in government are considering the well-being of those people.

This is great news for the East coast. I really hope it goes through, I agree with you both. Any pushes for legalization are good to me. Even if it fails, It's still drawing political attention to the issue.
