Yea i been campaigning hard for this. Already sent emails to my state reps, called my state rep and even called lamar smith who is the current person trying to block the bill from getting a hearing so it can be debated. Right now lamar smith is the key we have to sway or hopefully bypass.

Great job and big thanks to those organizations really pushing legalizing Marijuana; this only helps us as patients and citizens to follow through the final steps for the movement. Even if the bill is not passed, citizens and politicians are not going to be able to deny they bill every time it is brought to congress because marijuana is not going die-out but just keep trying.

i feel as if this will just get peoples hopes up. I do not think this will actually happen . Pewopl should just drop the idea as a whole, right now, at least temporarely.

it's about time. I do appreciate all who have spent time trying to get this bill to Congress. I hope this shows the population that people want this and it's time to end prohibition on all cannabis.

I completely agree with this bill. States should control if you can grow certain things. They are taking away our 10th amendment to STATES RIGHTS.

I sincerely hope this passes and ends the unfair and mixed up legislation that is currently used. There are a lot of promises that have been broken when it comes to marijuana. I hope that this is a sign of the end of those lies.

I absolutely love this bill. I however don't think it will get to where we all want to get. Unfortunately the world of people who really want this, most won't get up and vote, then so few will take the time to write letters or make statements to their respective law makers. Which is really sad, now if we would stand as a collective unit and make our views intelligently known then maybe. But so many sit back and complain while they never are willing to stand up for their beliefs. But we can hope, right?
