Wow that's exciting. I am an Oaksterdam Alumni myself and I found the experience invaluable. This will help legitimize the industry in arizona and give it a professional backbone. I wonder what their prices, curriculum and staff will be like. Once they are setup it would be an interesting place to visit or even take a seminar at. After all, everyone has different schools of though when it comes to cultivation.

How liberal are the medical marijuana laws in Arizona compared to CA?

If they bring this to Southern California, I'd gladly attend night school here. This is great for legitimizing the MMJ community and helping push the movement to the forward. & Nate, I believe the laws in Cali are less rigorous than the laws in AZ. I feel like CA is the closest you can get to Amsterdam in the states.

I think you're right about California laws being more lenient than Arizona's. I lived in Scottsdale and found a total right wing anti-marijuana type of politics there. I don't know the current leagalities there at the moment however in the past you could be arrested for one joint and then be forced to attend drug addiction classes. I am really surprised to hear that Arizona has become lenient enough for Sheriff Joe to okay this type of proposition.

Greenway University is a complete scam, they are a band of crooks from the mortgage business who are bent on taking over this business, DO NOT wast your time and money with them, they will rob you! These people know nothing about what they are teaching and are out for money, that's it!Marc Kent is a executive director with Greenway University. He is a ex lawyer that was convicted of insurance fraud in California. One of the largest cases of fraud with many attorneys he recruited and then ratted on in the end to save his own ass.

It is true that Marc Kent has helped set up over 200 collectives in Southern California. Do you want to know what happened to the vast majority of these collectives he set up?? They got raided or shut down. He charged people $3500 or more to fill out a couple of sheets of paper at the LA business license office. He could not represent people as a lawyer because he was disbarred. He acted as a consultant that once the money was paid he was gone. Would you like to know how many collective owners are livid with his services. A lot..... Do yourself a favor and stay away from Greenway University.... Bad karma and bad business ethics all around.

Rainforest Collective in Los Angeles has some of the worst weed in LA.... Check out weedmaps and read the reviews for yourself.

Also the CEO Gustavo ESCAMilla is one of the crooks in the mortgage industry who ran a fraudulent refinance factory that was shut down by the feds.

Education is a must in any field. With resources like this the cannabis industry really legitimizes itself. Personally nothing beats hands on learning.

Perfect timing, people are getting ready to open hydroponic stores as well as collectives. There's nothing better than that. truly, the patients of Arizona are soon to be getting the Cali way of having things, but I hear it is a bit more conservative out there.

Anytime you have something that is good for people and they could possibly learn to grow for themselves, thereby saving money as well as helping in the production for those who seriously can not grow anything, nor do they have the place to grow. Then there needs to be a place for you to learn. This is a really good thing more should be out there.

I hope this is not a scam, it really is a perfect step in the right direction for any state wanting to give mmj a legitimate face. Yeah for the residents and patients of Arizona.
