Having a 30 + year nursing career I cannot believe how blind this country is to the medicinal NEEDS of this grown from nature plant. All the opiates given out routinely in and out of the hospital are staggering. Many people who do not realize the many, many medicinal uses of this simple plant are amazed when they discover how much pain relief is recieved from marihuana. I myself was surprised at the wonders this plant does and does not harm your liver nor is it addictive. Politicians need some first hand experience in pain relief and medicinal marihuana.

How would they be able to draw the line and pick which ailments are worthy of treatment with medical cannabis? There are obvious problems with what the feds are saying. This is another waste of time, man power and money.

when it comes to severe chronic pain, you know when you are in need. Only those who have truly dealt with a life of pain can understand. If only just a handful of the politicians and feds had to deal with just a minute amount of the pain some of us patients live with, then they would understand. Get real people this is a medicine, a very needed medicine.

This should be unacceptable to citizens and patients. Unfortunately the bottom line factor is all about money and profit, and the government profits MORE when marijuana IS ILLEGAL; profit is coming from businesses, corporations, medical & education industries (K-College), and of coarse TAXPAYERS... Where is the line drawn?! Because it is the sick patients being attacked and affected.
The government in a way uses the law to keep a close eye on the citizens (through social security, employment, finances with taxes, and with the media for exposure) but who watches the government to make sure they are doing right by the American people and not just themselves....

the feds are a joke always trying to fuck with mmj patients , probably in order to get money through confiscating and legall fines. And choosing which patients r qualified is near impossible and ridiculous.

As stated by me previously the only reason why the Feds are so hell bent on arresting everyone connected with MMJ is because otherwise they would be out of a job. People have used cannabis for thousands of years and will continue to do so. Action speaks louder than words and history shows us that where there is a demand there will be a supplier, legally or not.

Exactly, Herb Lady!!! It is all about the government employees paycheck and where THEY can make a profit! They are always controversial in their decisions of Law... and it is not just history with marijuana but also with alcohol, equal rights for all, religion, and even to smallest prejudice decision that only affects certain people; like us, MMJ patients
