What about the oath that doctors take that says they will treat a person to the best of their abilities if their life is in danger? This woman was forced to make a choice for conventional or nonconventional medicine. Why can't we let people have both? This seems like such a violation of rights. This woman has the right to do whatever she can do to effectively treat her seizures. These are truly the situations that medical marijuana was intended for, and the mainstream medical community refuses to see the truth about medical marijuana because they are the ones who were brainwashed by the war on drugs. I can't wait for the next generation to become doctors already.

This is messed up, The girl has a brain tumor, and her doctors say she literally could be facing harm or death without her MJ. Why would a hospital of all paces care about a patient following a doctors orders.

Poor woman. I remember her name from previous legal battles in trying to receive relief from years ago. It would be alarming as a non pro Cannabis Doctor to stumble upon a patient inhaling vapor from a bag and a Volcano on the nightstand, but as more chronically ill truly benefit from this natural alternative, it will have to be addressed.

I agree Celsium, that it would probably alarm a doctor to catch her in the act of medicating in a hospital, but she has cancer and a medical marijuana card. If they are going to keep her in the hospital, she should be allowed to medicate just the same as if it were her home.

I guess I am curious, not knowing specifics of her illness, why the vaporizer instead of a medible or tincture? I guess perhaps she doesn't find those as effective for her needs.
