These states definitely need to open their eyes all the way. Okalahoma is particularly harsh that the sale of any amount of weed can possibly end in life imprisonment. You'd think these states were still in the 1950's or '60s.

I wonder how much this helps fund the 542 private prisons that exist in the united states

don't get caught in Arkansas with it either. they will cut you off all kinds off medications and it means painkillers, barbiturates, or any other things that you might take to calm down. i went to the dr. and told him i just moved here from Washington state and was a medical pot smoker there and he denied my my anxiety meds and wanted a drug test on the spot and if i came up with it in my system they would never perscribe them to me again in this state. so they would red flag me. i think this is bull, what should i do.

If you really need the cannabis for medication, I'd suggest moving to another state if possible, but if that's not possible, maybe do as they say for a while, then see how things play out. I don't know your condition and how bad you need your "legal" prescriptions but that's just my input.

fuck all that. california is the best place to live. Most laid back laws and regulations.
Guest | May 18, 2011
cali is too damn expensive i'm scared to move there, especially when i see all the job listings on craigslist only pay 8 bucks an hour... like wtf is that

Surprising that a few other states are really not the top of the list on that. I know a few people who won't even say the M word out of fear of being prosecuted. Let alone using marijuana on a daily basis. They would rather suffer from the unknown chemical effects of pharmaceutical drugs or K3 than get caught with any kind of weed. How stupid is that? Cali we all need to realize how good we have it. Thank God for California.

Those are some intense consequences. Especially the Oklahoma rules. I am glad that in CA it is more lenient. I could never live in any of those states.

Just another Monopoly of Money the Government has set up for themselves to gain profit and status in society... ALL B.S.!!!! If the Government cannot profit from it... no one can; because they cannot patent the marijuana affect into a form of a pill and get the same affects the plant provides when medicated in its natural form.

WOW. This is just another reason to be glad you live in Cali, seriously those others states are so far behind times with the rest of the world. Open your eyes you idiots. Yeah for Cali, damn so sad for those people who live in these backwoods idiot places.

California is great an all, but there are also other states with MMJ who have it decently laid back.

That list is surprising. It left out Nevada and New York. I never bring any meds when I go to Vegas or Tahoe because Nevada is very strict as well. I lived in Arizona, my friend was busted with a joint and spent a year going to mandatory Drug Rehab classes. He was lucky he didn't wind up at Sheriff Joe's Tent Town encampment. I was suprised to see AZ allowing dispensaries recently.

I have live in ok my whole life and smoked for the better part of half of it and I had no clue. I've never been directly caught with any dealings or possesion but the police came to my car while at a lake and sat behind me while my friend and I finished our joint. We realized it was the police as he walked up and we rolled the windows down and tossed the roach while he wasn't looking. Goodthing we didn't have anything else because they did tear my car to shit. Got lucky a lot of times moving though.

You should also add Arkansas to that list. A small roach is a felony, a used weed pipe...a felony, a seed in your cars carpet...felony...Molest a child....3 month!!!! Grrrrr

I live in Florida, and my son and his friends were pulled over and he was busted for having 4 roaches in his pocket! He was 19 years old and spent his first night in jail. 6 months probation, hundreds of dollars in in fines and drug classes and probation fees. Over FOUR ROACHES!!! He is SUCH a criminal! :( Florida SUCKS!

I'm from Louisiana and was in court for a family member and most of the people there had something to do with cannabis. Lady had 1 gram in her car, got fifteen years suspended and put on 10 years probation with drug tests every two weeks paid by her. The lady after her had stolen, over quite a period of time using a manager for help, $45,000 from Walmart. She got three years probation and fined. Wtf?
Guest | Aug 10, 2012
The cops knocked on my door and I answered with half a blunt in my mouth and my apt clouded out. The cop was "I don't care who does drugs, or where are the drugs and pipes .. I just told you I was coming back for you if you had any warrants.."
