This is really funny, only one guy to guard that much weed? And we wonder why the Mexican cartel keeps getting caught. Seriously this is a really funny situation. The park ranger is lucky it wasn't a good guard though or he would have been possible killed.
That is hilarious. Right by where I live too. It is such a tourist spot. But I guess they would rather take the risk of docking than go against the elements. They probably just had one guy checking on it, but the others got away.
Its not odd at all that the Mexican nationals chose to rest their heels on Catalina...besides they didn't really have much of a choice according to the weather. Catalina has very little security and the fact that it is a hot spot for tourists only matters during the summer season. This idiot should have stayed out of sight on that beach...lol...good story though!!

Getting caught is a risk taken by anyone who tries to get away with something they know is illiegal. The guard knew this was a possibility as did the cartel. It's probably better to get your MMJ at a reputable dispensary, however not everyone has that luxury. Obviously many people are buying the Mexican weed or else they wouldn't still be in business. Supply and demand.
