My favorite purple has to be this strain called Purple Wreck. It was so good, a cross between Purple Urkel and Train Wreck. I got it at KushMart in LA. It was for $65 and I think that was their top shelf price at the time... When I went back for more it was gone, and I have never seen it since then. It was nice and fruity but it also had that little kick. It seems like one of those strains that I won't find again unless I try to get some seeds and grow it myself.

The Purps. A pheno from Mendo County. I'm not a big fan of smoking purples, but I can't resist growing them because the beauty of purples is straight from heaven. This partiicular pheno isn't even my favorite in terms of smoking or color, but because I can plant small clones late in the season and they will yield up to a qp 10 weeks later. The plants only reach a max height of two feet in this short cycle, but it's usually two 18 inch buds that can only be described as a true donkey dicks. The buds are so thick and hard that they rot and mold if exposed to more than three to four days of rain. Complete rot. If you want to know heartbreak, hold a two-bud qp of rotted purple in your hand. Breaking off a piece of this strain fully curred fills the room with the smell purple. It tastes like purple and smells like purple. Considering the word purple is not an odor or taste, that should describe it's essence. It's purple

Purple Urkle is one of my favorites because it is really potent when grown properly and very tasty. Also, Granddaddy Purple another strong and tasty smoke; my lady likes this one for her body aches. Lavender strain is actually suppose to be one of the higher THC levels of all the purples, I haven't picked up this strain anywhere but got a free joint of lavender and did that knocked me out, it was strong and really tasty, just like lavender!

Another Purple strain I've recently become fond of is Purple Buddha. It's a cross of The Purps and Blue Buddha and is a heavy 75% indica-dominant strain. Tastes like hash has been sprinkled on it and grapes. It hits hard and immediately and I've come to use it to completely strip my kitchen bare of all food and for insomnia. It's definitely up there with Purple Urkle, GDP and Lavender.

I've seen that Purple Buddha at a clinic but they couldn't tell me what the genetics were so I didn't end up trying it... but now I'm going to when I find it again. Thanks for the post!
I'd definitely recommend it for a hard-hitting and relaxed high.

My first indoor grow. Using earthbox and LED's. Risked getting "the Purps" from BCBuds amsterdam. into sixth week 12 and 12. Couldn't resist a little sample. My kind of buzz. Trippy, makes me feel creative (I'm a musician), minimal couch lock or cookie cravings. Can't hardly wait for mature, dried, cured. Getting high by the 4th of July. Glad to be here. Hope to make valuable contributions.
