Over the years I've held many jobs and sometimes I medicated before going in, sometimes not. It usually depended on the job or the drive. I had a few jobs that were very cool and I could get away for lunch to medicate. My last job I didn't smoke until I got home around 8pm, but I only worked 3 days a week. I'm interested in what others have to say.

I always smoke before work and on my lunch break. I would get fired if I ever got caught, regardless of patient status. I work at an Alzheimer's Day Care Center for elderly adults with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. I know that there is one other guy at my work who smokes, but that is it. I sometimes wonder if they smell it on me, especially first thing in the morning. I do try more to hide it with perfume and all that, but I know that only works to a certain extent.

Now that I'm disabled it doesn't matter but before I never got real toasted before work, I always ran heavy equipment so there was a problem. But as soon as work was over I was hitting it on the way home.

I had one job at a call center and everyday we'd pile in our cars to meet up for a long lunch break. It was cool because we'd all share on different days and get our pain relief as well as our mental relief. It was a fun group and one of the best things about that job. Most other jobs I only smoked ocassionally while there on the clock. I got used to waiting and would smoke while being driven home.

I love when you finally have that conversation with someone at work, and then you find out that someone else or a lot of other people smoke too. It makes a job so much more enjoyable because it bonds you with your coworkers and any job is better when you can socialize and get along with people there. It also makes the actual work you do more tolerable, but I understand that at some places it just isn't possible so you wait until after, like a nice reward for working so hard :)

Definitely agree, it relieves a lot of possible stress about having to hide it from them. I smoke at work, before work, after work, it's cool.

I find that smoking before some types of work helps me do the work faster. Other types of work it doesnt help me.

I use marijuana to enhance my creativity.

Checkout terrence mckennas writings about cannabis there amazing...and he used it 14-18 times a day! Ha!

Also I find I like sativas for during work, even though I'm definitely more of an indica lover.

I definately have to use the Sativas if I plan on getting any work done. I once worked at a call center too and didn't know anybody. I had moved to a new state that was not cool about marijuana. After about a month in this new work place one day I spotted a girl with a rasta shirt on. I knew she must be into the ganga so I went over to talk with her and worked it into the conversation. She became my only hook up for several months until I met more people.
But it's funny that because of the shirt I felt comfortable enough to ask her otherwise I would have been miserable at home and work without any weed.

I work in a dispensary, but I actually don't smoke b4. I usually have to sample some strains during the day so I try to have a clear head when I go in. On the few occasions I do its usually a good daytime indica to relive back pain.
Who wants to dabble?

I am starting to prefer to eat an edible rather than smoke at work because I feel it is safer and actually makes me more relaxed than grabbing a quick bowl in my car. I don't have to worry about the smell and sometimes I can just eat it right there in front of my boss.

I have a hard labor job with sometimes long hours, so I would only have a small bowl before I head out for work, depending on how far I had to drive for jobs sometimes I'd bring a bowl with me to have only before I start the long drive home from wherever my job was at that day, then of coarse I have my skillit hit right when I get home which is perfect for after a long hard days work.
I know my lady has to smoke before she goes to work, in a business office, and sometimes she'll take a bowl with her in case she feels sick after lunch, otherwise she just waits till after work to have her skillit hit.

You are always talking about this skillit vaporizer, is there a website with more information about them? Is it like a hotbox one or more like a hand held?

I've hit skillits that are a bowl attachment for bongs.

Yup, I will always go on about the Vapor Skillit; I feel it is the best way to smoke because it is cleaner than smoking plant matter, it is all vapor!
The first video tells you the details of the Vapor Skillit, and the second video shows and tells you what it is like taking a hit of OG Kush Budder off a Skillit, presented to you by the head budtender (might be part owner) at my favorite clinic, S.C.P.O.T.

And the third video just shows skillit hit after skilllit hit from different people off different peices, some people in the video are using big bongs which I have learned and been told that the vapor does not need to be filtered to much and should be brought to your lungs faster through a small bubbler or thin/short bong.

I used to smoke when I got up because of lower back pain. Now I am fairly healed so I can wait until the evening. I actually look forward to it and enjoy waiting to smoke in the a.m. for the weekends.

I just feel so much more calm and productive at work after smoking, it really works for me.
