=ut out six Jack/613 babies one week ago. It's Sacramento, it's rained ever day, it's cold. They've doubled in size and flowered. Will be a nice half pound in six weeks.

Flowers are getting more defined, but these poor babies haven't seen sun in about 3 days and it's supposed to rain for the next 3-4 days. Will start pics when there's enough to see. Some sun would help. My greenhouse plants are starting to suffer so I've added four 1000 hps.

Nice, hopefully the sun comes out, looking forward to seeing pics.

Constant rain and cold and sustained winds if 25 mph wth gusts up to 50, yet the babies are going. It's so cold, the flowers are purple. As soon as I get some sun, the pics will begin. About 14 inches

Well at least they seem to be surviving faily well, hopefully the weather picks up, we're having similar weather without the wind down in SJ.

I have Jack Herrer and G13 in my indoor garden and are currently about 3-4 weeks into flowering growing under 400w HPS and few T5 lights; and pistols are just showing up everywhere... I'll try to take pictures to add to a journal this week

Here is a picture of G13 (PIC_1202) in a 3gal pot at about 5wks... She is all spears!!!!

And Jack Herrer (PIC_1222 & 1178) in 5gal pots at about 8wks. She has mostly pistols but starting to show trichromes underneath the pistols.

Plants are under 400w HPS and with surrounding T5s, all organic soil :D

Just a quick update; G13 is at 7wks and she looks like she still has some growing to do... and I was doing a search on other G13s and I can't find any that were spears like mine...
Any other growers have any tips or idea what might be happening?...

I know some strains can have inconsistent phenotypes, causing more sativa-like characteristics in, say an indica like G13, or visa versa. How many G13 ladies do you have? Did you get her/them as a clone or from seed. I'd say if they are all like that, I don't know what to expect, but if you only have one that you got as a clone and she's doing that, then my guess would be you happened to get a phenotype without the exact characteristics of its mother. It looks good though, regardless.

Thanks, CannaConnoisseur; that makes sense, because my G13 does have more sativa characteristics than indica. But it helps knowing that someone else thinks she is doing good.

Do you have any other purple strains in your flowering room? I know some strains like Purple Urkle can actually turn other non-purple strains next to her purple. If not, then I'd say you may have gotten a really messed up phenotype like I said earlier, but more likely it may not be G13. Did you get the clone from a club or cut it yourself from a mother? It could also be your "nighttime" temps, as a change of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or more from day to night temps can cause any strain to turn purple.

I agree, I've never seen G13 that looks like that. Doesn't look too bad though, weird that it turned purple and has elongated calyxes like a sativa. Not sure, let us know how it smokes and tastes when it's ready.

Nice pics, I enjoy seeing all the stages. It might have just been the cold nights lately that turned it purple. Post pics after it cured too! :)
