We have incidentally discovered that cannabis reduces and/or eliminates the common side effect of all antipsychotics, the "edginess", 'crawly' sensations, irritability and "crawling ants under the skin" symptoms. It has been an enormous relief to my wife, who never really used marijuana, because it would just put her sleep. We have reported this to her physicians in hopes they will pass this information on to other patients.

I am glad to hear that your wife found some relief with medical cannabis. People like her prove that we need to do more research because more positive effects of cannabis are being discovered every day!

I am also happy for you and your wife. I have a 51yr old patient who came to me suffering from Fibromyalgia. Doctors were giving her medications just shy of heroin. Tired of all the opiates(not working and the addiction) she tried marijuana..........She was blown away by the painkilling effects. She was against marijuana use. Now she medicates indica dom. for pain and sleep, and sativa dom, for the depression, anxiety and lethargy that accompany the fibro. Most of her doctors at Kaiser do not approve.
