This is my second grow. First time around was very basic. Just a 400w hps, no ventilation, and some reflective mylar. Since then I dry walled the room, added a 4" vortex fan, and divided the room to give me a veg and flower side. And added a 600w hps for the flowering side. I need to get a dehumidifier as I am at 50-60%. My temp fluctuates between 75 and 80 degrees while the lights are on and about 68 before they come back on. I am growing some from seed and some from clone. I have also cloned a few of my own. I am novice at growing medical marijuana, but have a green thumb for everything. I have been experimenting with several methods and theories from other growers I know. I have been keeping a daily journal, charting progress, and keeping detailed notes on how different things I do affect the plants. Currently I have 2 Salmon Creek Kush plants(seed) in 7gal smart pots about 2 to 3 weeks from harvest, 2 Blueberry Jam(seed) in 3gal buckets, 1 Lemon Kush(seed) in 3 gal bucket, 1 Gigabud(clone) in 3gal bucket. Also there are 4 clones from my SCK plants, and 2 clones I made from the Gigabud clone. 1 of the Blueberry Jam's is being held out of flowering as a mother. After Apr. 18th I will be caregiving for a good friend with MS. Feel free to leave feedback. I am open to constructive criticism and suggestions to better my grow.

Looks damn good dude, keep it up! Tons of bud sites. What nutrients do you use for veg and flower? What kind of soil?

Don't laugh too hard, but I am only using Miracle Grow plant food for veg, and Vigoro bloom booster for flowering. Soil is a mixture of topsoil from my yard, bagged potting soil, peat moss, and a couple other things my buddy gave me to add and for the life of me can't remember what they were called. I also have earth worms in the pots to keep the soil aerated.

After my last post I remembered I had an old dehumidifier. Got it set up, just need to dial it in. I wondered if that was why I seemed to have fluffier nugs. CC, It was your post in another journal that confirmed my suspicions. I love it, I've been a member here for a day and already learning something. Hopefully it will help my SCK's finish strong and future generations to be better.

Wow, I'm not laughing... just amazed that you grew plants like that from that soil and nutes. My hat is off to you bro.

Thanks. I am bucking a lot of trends as far as other growers have told me... Did I mention its recycled dirt from my first grow also. Everyone told me I was crazy, but I didn't have bugs, diseases or any other problems so I just added some fresh potting soil and peat. I am sure with better nutrients I could get a little better results, but I am on a budget so I went cheap. If you look at the active ingredients in those nutrients compared to similar types at the hydro shops, you'd be surprised how close they are. Especially when its about $5 a box each as opposed to what some of the big name nutrients cost.

Glad it's working for you, I'll never stray from either Fox Farms or BC Grow products.

That's what I was going for. Simple, and cost effective. Everything included I have less than $1000 into my room and i'm getting good results.

Salmon Creek Kush is in the drying cabinet I built. Gigabud, Lemon Kush, and Blueberry Jam are between 20 and 30 days out and looking great. I also have 2 more Gigabud clones and a Salmon clone about 2 weeks into flowering. Plus a batch of clones of all the varieties named above except lemon kush that just took root. I may have to expand to make room for more plants in the flowering side. I'll post some new pics soon.

Very stoked. I'd be even more if I had a couple PR'd and heading to join you on whatever lake your fishing on, in your profile pic. Awesome view and looks like a nice fish. Hunting and fishing are my therapy. As the late great Fred Bear said, "It cleanses the soul."

I'll get some new pics tomorrow while i'm working in my room. Also starting with botanicare neuts instead of the cheapo's. Gonna run a cycle with them and see what difference they make. Then decide if i'm going to stick with them or try something else.

After doing a bunch of work, I finally got time to snap a couple pictures. I just started everything on Botanicare neuts and supplements. A good buddy of mine gave me almost the complete line in exchange for some meds. I'll be curious to see how much of a difference they make.

Thanks man I appreciate that. He is a great guy with a young family, much like myself so I feel for him. I'm not charging him anything for his meds either. Him having me caregive for him, allows me to grow enough plants to get a good rotation down without either of us running out. I wouldn't feel right about charging a friend like that anyway. When he was on all the prescription drugs, he was like a zombie and always felt terrible. He isn't taking them anymore and strictly using mmj and his symptoms and attacks are less severe and far and few between, with no side effects from medication.

That's great to hear and with all the greedy growers I know of, it's nice to hear of one who not only doesn't rip his patient off, but doesn't charge him at all. Very cool of you. How is the garden coming along? Unfortunately since I dropped my camera in water I haven't been able to take any pics except with my phone. Hopefully I'll be getting a new camera soon though.

The garden is looking great. The girls are loving the new neuts. I am a week out on the gigabud, 2 weeks on the lemon kush, and 3 on the blueberry jam. My batch of clones I made are looking good and growing fast. They will be going in their big pots this weekend. I've been slacking a bit the last few weeks with some crazy health stuff going on in my family. I have to put some serious time in this weekend doing a little pruning and overall maintenance.

Houston I may have a problem... I think my Blueberry Jam is a hermie. The buds look very strange and my lemon kush that was next to it has seeds. I will try and get some pics up so I can get some opinions. I'm not one of those people that freaks out over a few seeds. In fact I am excited to see if its a cross of the two or whatever I come out with. Is it true a hermaphrodite produces feminized seeds? Gigabud is dry and going into a jar tonight to start the curing process. Early sampling seems like it is gonna be the bomb after curing. I will post some finished product pics of the sck, and gigabud soon too.

I've finally got some more pictures. First is the blueberry jam that I think is hermied.
