About the Event
Seattle Hempfest is a huge weekend-long gathering of patients who want reformed cannabis policy for the US and the world. It is thrown by a group of patients every year, and it is entirely funded by donations and worked by volunteers. With six stages that span across three waterfront Seattle parks, the entertainment is spread out so that many people can participate at once. With tons of musical guests, inspirational speakers about cannabis policy reform, and an arts and crafts fair, there is something for everyone at this giant festival. There is no sale of cannabis allowed in the park, but patients are allowed to use if they have a legal recommendation for the state of Washington. Perhaps the most alluring part of Hempfest: admission is free! They do ask for donations. If you live in the area, why not bring a couple bucks and meet some like-minded individuals?
