About the Event

The Oregon chapter of NORML holds twice-monthly meetings for members who are Oregon Medical Marijuana Program cardholders. The meetings are held at the Village Ballroom in Portland. At these meetings, you will be able to pick up a marijuana seedling to begin your medical marijuana garden. Expert growers will be there to answer your questions about growing. There are discussions about the latest attempts to change Oregon's Medical Marijuana Act, and meetings help you get involved politically to protect and expand your rights. The meeting offers patients, caregivers, and growers to network and begin new caregiving relationships, so that the spirit of sharing medicine without profit is maintained in Oregon. The doors lock at noon so you must be in line and inside by then. This three hour meeting twice a month gives patients a way to connect and grow together. If you live in or around Portland and are a medical marijuana patient, why not give the meeting a try?

Considering the changing of the laws around medicinal cannabis, NORML is on their way to extinction. It is to no avail to anyone to sponsor, donate, contribute, or patronize the organization nor their services. And when you consider the way they treat their own supporters and contributors with such disrespect. Why would you want to?
