Cannabis Truffles

One of the more common marijuana edibles found at dispensaries, truffles are an extremely tasty way to medicate for many patients. However, these decadent babies are not exclusive to dispensaries. You can make your own right in your kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 cup super fine granulated sugar
  • 2 beaten egg yolks
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds
  • 1/3 cup liqueur (Kahlua)
  • 4 tbsp CannaButter
  • Directions:

Slowly melt the chocolate morsels in a fondue pot or double boiler, while steadily adding in the CannaButter. Once the butter has melted in, stirring constantly, add in the sugar until it dissolves in the chocolate and butter. Next, remove the pot from the heat source and add 2 or 3 tablespoons to the beaten egg yolks to warm them up. Once you do this, add the egg yolks with the chocolate into the pot, mixing it in thoroughly. Mix in the almonds and liqueur and pour onto a glass brownie pan. Place in the refrigerator to solidify. After 3 or 4 hours the truffles should be hardened and you may cut and form them to your desire. Store in the refrigerator or freezer. Serve and enjoy.

Truffles are a delicious way to enjoy a great body high. My girlfriend made some peanut butter cups recently and they were to die for. Creamy, sweet and delectable. She put almost 1/2 gram of keef in each. The high was mellow and lasted for hours. With the right wrapping, no one would ever know that they were medicinal... until they ate one of course. :-)

Had to go someplace I didn't want to smell like weed so this accomplished the best effect without leaving me smelling of weed. If you need the relief and don't want to smell, give these little delicate tasty treats a chance.

I tried these with my sister because they're her favorite. This is a fun and easy recipe with delicious results. I like to bake anyway so this just gives me more reasons to keep trying new recipes. Gotta be careful tho, it's almost bikini season.

I like to make these and mix them into hot coffee with a little milk. You can be pretty discreet with them because they are so small. Also you can dip plastic spoons into the chocolate and freeze them to eat or use for a drink later. This recipe sounds tasty especially the Kahlua, I love the mix of flavors with alcohol and chocolate.

Truffles are like the best. I can like sit in front of who ever and have a nice medicated moment and no one knows what I'm doing;) perfect. But I don't think I should eat a ton of them though might not get in my bikini, but I would be happy anyway:)

Pretty common and always does the job. Some are more potent than others. Try different dispensaries to find the ones you like.

I would love to get my hands on some truffles infused with the weed. I can't believe I haven't seen chocolate candy style edibles at any dispensaries I have been to, and I feel like I have made my way to a good amount. The chocolate seems like it would mask the taste and would leave a weed smell on your breath or anything. I am going to definitely look into buying some candy style edibles whenever I get the opportunity.

I am an absolute lover of truffles but to add THC to them it is sheer heaven. The potency is unbelieveable. I can enjoy something I love and get the relief and anxiety help I need all in one. So much better than the crappy drugs the so-called regular docs want me to take. these don't turn me into a zombie.

I love to bake when it's cold outside and what could be better than some medicated chocolate. It's an easy recipe and I like the idea about freezing them. You can make a very large batch to have on hand for any ocassion.

I like the idea of using an ice cube tray or even rubber chocolate molds. It is a lot easier than the way the recipe suggests because it is hard to cut and form the chocolate when it is frozen.
