Cannabis Pizza

Medicated pizza is one of the more common edibles found in many dispensaries. The reason why is clear: not only is it a delicious way to medicate, most pizzas are enough to qualify as a meal for patients. This treat is priced around $20 at most dispensaries. However, a much more rewarding experience can be making your own medicated pizza.

  • Makes two pizzas.
  • Ingredients:

    Dough:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 oz. yeast
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 8 fl. oz. water
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted CannaButter (potency depends on dosage of your butter)
  • Toppings:

  • 2 cups grated cheese of your choice
  • 1 large can of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tsp freshly ground oregano
  • Any other desired toppings
  • 5 tbsp melted CannaButter
  • Instructions:

First, add the flour, yeast and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Then add water and steadily mix it into dough. Cover the bowl with a towel or cloth and set aside in a somewhat warm area for 30 minutes. Uncover, adding the salt and 2 tbsp of melted CannaButter, and mix into a dough ball. Coat this ball in a layer of flour. On a low temperature, simmer any toppings you want in your 5 tbsp of CannaButter. Next, add the tomatoes and oregano and allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, until it is similar to sauce. Now, roll your dough into two separate but even balls. Flatten these and spread your sauce over the dough, subsequently adding the cheese and any more toppings you want. Bake in the oven for 13 to 18 minutes at 375 degrees.

The instructions are a bit unclear to me? It says 1oz.Yeast and then 1tsp.Yeast. So i need an oz. And a tbsp? Why does it have it twice?

This is the best ever. I agree with Bud Selektor it could be dangerous. It's hard to resist and I find myself having at least 3 slices. I usually wrap up the rest for lunch. If i leave it out it may just get eaten up too quickly.

This works really well for me, if I need more help I make sure that the pizza has plenty of butter melted on the top as well as mixed in the pizza crust. I can regulate the amount simply for my own personal needs.

I like to take the cannabutter and melt it over the frozen pizzas, taking something that is just ok and turning it into an absolute perfect way to get your correct dose of THC. Finally frozen pizza made yummy the microwave kind is what I mean.

I had some that my friend made and it was really potent one slice was all I could handle the taste was really good even though the THC taste was almost too strong. I did like the way it worked though.

I just made some pizza last night that had a bit too much butter on it because I got a stomach ache as i digested the food. It was wonderful and got me really medicated but I think I put too much butter under the cheese. I have also found that it is good to dip your cheesy sticks into, you just got to be careful to not throw the butter in them microwave because you will nuke the stuff. I just throw it in butter I put in the microwave and let it melt into it, it seems to work well. You can use the butter for multiple things other than pizza so get creative and see what you can come up with that tastes good.

I just had some of this tonight but I made my own pizza and also some bread sticks without any special ingredients of any sort. I then spread a little bit of butter on top of the pizza, and also melted some down into a cup to dip my breadsticks into. It was so amazing with all the parmesan cheese and pepperoni, and bacon. I have been really into trying random foods with cannabutter on them because I got sick of making sugary sweets to get medicated, I now just spread some butter on whatever it fitting and withen a bit I am medicated and don't have to smoke or eat sugary snacks.

Here's an idea, get a 5 dollar pizza, take some cannibutter melt it over vegetables, apply vegetables to pizza, enjoy. I did this with broccoli (I know...) it was amazing! I would recommend it, although I would also recommend getting two pizzas and saving one for later.

Medical pizza seems dangerous to me. I'm always leery of edibles that taste too good. Munchies always send me back for more and it's easy to end up over medicated. :-) However if making edibles as pleasant as possible is the goal, pizza is a great choice. The natural taste of marijuana adds to the taste and fragrance of the other herbs and blends into a tasty treat.

I think that pizza is one of the best edibles out there. I have never had one with cannabis-infused dough, just the sauce, but it seems easy to make. Almost everyone loves pizza, and it is completely customizable. This recipe sounds great, not exactly healthy but most pizzas aren't. I am going to try it this weekend!

This is a great recipe especially for pizza lovers who like to medicate with edibles. I like the taste of the cannabis mixed with the herbs, spices, tomato and other ingredients. Unlike eating sweets where the taste can interfer with the flavor, the weed actually enhances the taste. I can't wait for the next pizza night.

I don't eat pizza very often but on the rare occasion I do this makes it even better. I truly enjoyed the one I made it was the best part of my day. Maybe it will be a new Saturday night treat. Well it worked for the turmoil of my day and I enjoyed the rest of my night. Oops I ate nearly the whole thing by myself though.

This is a great way to take your med. If you like pizza and who doesn't, you will love this. Plus, you get a great high and all you taste is the pizza.

That looks insanely good. I am only worried about the large amounts of butter o.0. I suppose making a healthy pizza is besides the point, but cannabis infused margarine or vegetable oil could help bring down the calories. Props to the oregano and tomatoes, very tasty.
