Jolly Ranchers

CANDY! I was high walking around the mall and stopped by a candy store. THC candy could be big if you combined the innovation of candy makers with the joy that is medicating. They had a custom pixie stick maker, green licorice, rock candy, and of course, jolly ranchers. OH and jelly beans. But I had no money and recently had my cavities filled, so I enjoyed it all vicariously.

Anyone tried cannabis alcohol jello shots?

These jolly ranchers are a novel item but not too potent on the medicinal side. It is however a great idea and all with the munchie effect felt by most stoners and medicaters.

I've treid these, the strength is pretty weak. It's a good idea though considering how most stoners and patient medicaters get munchies as right of passage.

i tried these too...it was ok, i mean i ended up eating QUITE a few of them so i felt good, i honestly forgot they where canna-ranchers, but it kept me from having cotton mouth, and the munchies lolz

I've had pretty weak ones, but there are definitely potent ones out there, especially if you make them yourself. One of the great things about making your own edibles is that you can make them as strong or as week as you want.

They were really good tasting, and great to suck on for a tiny buzz. But if you need some real relief you will definitely need to look else where. But for a little sweet taste of heaven then give them a shot.

When I tried this candy I wasn't sure what it would taste like. It wasn't bad and was really kinda good, but the lasting effect suks. I'm not a big fan of hard candy and the effect was only for a short while.

Once again I appreciate all of the comments here because I was going to buy some Jolly Ranchers from my delivery service this week. I have been trying to get some feedback and opinions on these candies and the ones here made me decide to just make my own. I'm getting ready to take a long plane trip and these will definately help pass the hours in a relaxing medicated way.

I had a lollipop today which is essentially the same thing as a jolly rancher and I have to say, at first the high is pretty nice buz as you may read with some of the other reviews, I will say the lasting effect is less than desirable, since these things go for the same price as brownies, I would recommend you go with something that has actually butter in it than just sugar and corn syrup.

I can say I have found a great little watermelon jolly rancher candy recommended by the twitter MarijuanaHB, he said Happy Candy found at the 530 dispensary in Shasta Lake City should be tried. I have to admit it is outstanding very tasty and long lasting

Just got some of these from The Candy Man in Shasta Lake City at 530 they are really awesome the flavor is just like a real jolly rancher just better. I had to suck on to help me deal with just being out in the world but they sure helped. Thanks a Heap Candy Man.

Wow just finished my last watermelon from the candy man, so I guess I am going to town as soon as possible. They don't have a buzz that hits real hard, but they are just the perfect little treat that can keep the edge off while you don't want the world to see or smell your smoke.

Pretty easy to find some cool flavors like pina colada or root beer. Definitely a creeper.

The taste was okay, but i had to eat a lot before I felt anything. I didn't get very much then. probably would go into sugar shock before any real effects hit. Maybe the ones I got just were poor quality I don't know but I wasn't impressed at all.

I finally got to try one today, I ate some of it. I got the green apple flavor and I was pretty disappointed because one of my friends told me that they had the flavor perfect. I did go to a different clinic than her, but I still was expecting that mouth-watering flavor. They should have just called it a stick-less lollipop because it tasted exactly like one to me. I didn't get that crazy Jolly Rancher flavor, but it was still a potent edible. I think it is convenient for when you are on the go, like Flower22 said.

The taste was not like what I expected, I don't know what I really thought I was going to get but They don't really taste like jolly ranchers, and I think I would have to eat a whole bag to get any effects off of the ones I ate. Maybe I'll try a different dispensary, but honestly I'm not sure I want to waste the money trying.

I am quite torn between really liking them and being disappointed in the effect. They were absolutely wonderful, yet the potency is really low. If you had maybe about 7 of them at once maybe you could feel more than I did. But on 1 or 2 I just didn't get anything.

It seems like everyone agrees the typical "Jolly Rancher" flavor is not included with these MMJ candies. As lindzzz mentioned, they should call them something else instead of trying to hook you/capitalize on the already established flavors of JR. Anyway I think I'll stick to the choc chip cookies they are usually good and potent no matter what the dispensary.

i have gotten jolly ranchers that were medicated, plenty of times. i dont think i would buy them again , but i would ofcourse try this recipe. It seems as if it should do the trick on a painful day.

It is a discreet way to medicate, and I made some myself with strawberry flavor and no citric acid, they ended up being sweet strawberry drops. My friends all really enjoyed them.

Is there any reason you can't buy real Jolly Ranchers and just melt them to liquid and add the hash? Then remold the result back into the familiar candy shapes. It's unlikely to home-create the strong tasty JR flavors from flavors you can buy from Michael's or wherever.

I strongly recommend getting baked edibles rather than getting candy edibles. I only got a small buzz from 2, and no buzz from just 1.

Got some of these from my local dispensary, got me a good buzz lasted 30-40 minutes, tasted well.

There is such an easier more potent way to make hard candy esp if your a Jolly Rancher fan!

1st lets not reinvent the wheel! Buy a large bag of the classic Jolly Ranchers. Now your going to need 5 mason jars, 8oz jars work best.

Your going to separate the five flavors into each jar. I like to do 28 at a time and I use the basic candy mold from hobby lobby, they look like attached little bricks.

Now get a sauce pan going with boiling water. Place mason jars up to 3 in the boiling water with the lids on. The double boiler system allows you to melt the ranchers and add keif, tincture, bubble hash, or thc alcohol extraction with out bringing candy to crack point which is thc vape temp. Hence why most hard candy does bit work IT GETS TOO HOT!

So now you wait for your ranchers to melt, yes it takes awhile once able to stir add your mmj. Then quickly spread into molds, pop in freezer and wha-la yummie simple cost effective hard candy!

I find thc alcohol extraction is the best way to dose hard candies like these, but thats my personal preference.

I will be making these into lollipops today.. I think the rain why these are weak is because your hash should be baked before hand (5mins @300°) this turns the THCA into THC making it orally active I am also using a tincture instead of hash.. Well part results

It uses canna butter :).
Ive made a few batches for travel. Therrrrrr gggggrrrreat.
Use potent butter. I do 10-12oz kill trim, per 4lbs butter.
Great affect

First, make cannabis butter by adding a pound of butter to boiling water; then add one ounce of VERY finely ground (powdered) weed. boil rapidly for about 15 minutes, then cool mixture in fridge or freezer, until cannabis butter floating on top is solid, skim it off and put in container, throwing away the rest of the trash. Use this butter in a standard recipe for peanut butter cookies. YUM! Good taste, great high!

Just started buying the jolly ranchers - told at the clinic that each one contains about an average sized joint's worth of weed. My buddy and I split one and went golfing. High as balls an hour later and still very high five hours after that. Great buzz that keeps delivering and you're not choking down a brownie to cupcake at the same time.

I agree, alcohol or glycerine tincture would work better than straight hash. By also adding lecithin to the mix, it would be better absorbed by the stomach. If you melt your jolly ranchers, let them cool until its just still soft enough to mix evenly, but not so hot as to degrade your thc. Mix in your tincture, pour into molds, and enjoy. I dont understand why so many dispensaries cant get this right and potent. Im not even in a legal state, and weve been doing this for years. I live in Maine. There are only a few dispensaries here that even offer edibles. Ive learned by mixing my THC oil with chocolate and other meltable stuff i can produce better edibles that taste great and they also get the job done. I have been sick with pneumonia for the past 3 weeks the smoking of my bud has been put on hold for those 3 weeks and my edibles have been the only thing able to help me relax enough to sleep i even have a vaporizer but with my asthma being so severe it hasnt been helping in the getting relief department. my email is leighton314@gmail.com if anyone wants some recipes i'll be happy to share

I cannot even believe that there is a site like this teaching teenage kids that it's ok to be deceitful and to possibly become addicted to weed, or any other drug. Sites like this give kids the idea that doing drugs is acceptable.

Hello I am looking for information on medical. See I am sick I have sever joint pain(been to many doctors they have no idea why)muscle weakness and chest pain never mind being depressed over this.I am only 38 I used to be a very active person working out and always playing with my kids.Now I cant work even walk, catch or throw a ball to my kids cant even pick up my younger son cause of muscle weakness I hate taking meds and wanted to see if this will help me. Can anyone help me
