Edibles Banana Bread

Banana Bread

Cannabis banana bread

Marijuana-infused banana bread is loved by Cannabis patients all over. It is a delicious way to medicate and is not overly rich and sweet like many edibles can be. The best way to make banana bread is to use medicated butter or margarine, however it can also be made using extremely finely ground Cannabis.

Materials

  • Baking grease
  • 1 glass loaf-baking pan
  • 1 stirring spoon
  • Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 bananas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 2 medium-sized eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup CannaButter (potency of bread depends on the potency of the butter)
  • Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 (this is important as anything over 385 degrees will kill off the THC). Beat the softened butter, eggs, sugar and sour cream (or whipping cream) in a large mixing bowl. Mix in both the vanilla as well as the baking soda. Next, slowly but steadily, add in the flour, mixing it in after each addition to the bowl. When you have mixed in all the flour, add the walnuts. Now, you add the bananas and beat them in until they are as mashed and have as little lumps as possible. Grease your pan and pour the mixture in it. Place in the oven and bake for 55 to 60 minutes.

I made two banana nut breads, one using this recipe and one using better homes and gardens recipe. Not only did this recipe forget baking powder, and salt and cinnamon but it also was very runny and did not cook all the way through, most likely because of the 1/2 cup of sour cream that wasnt used in the other one. If your looking for good banana nut bread, I'd stick to better homes & gardens, or your grandma's old recipes.

Also a good idea is to make it with zucchini, it is really flavorful with vegetables as well.

I am wondering if other people find that Banana helps make for a calmer sleepier high... Chocolate brownies created a mild sleepy high for me, but I found the same butter caused an unpleasant wide-awake high with pumpkin bread. I am looking for insomnia assistance, not a high.

This is a good recipe, banana bread is awesome stuff. Mixing it with cannabis is a great idea. I would recommend doubling this recipe or even tripling it cause this bread is going to go fast.

This smells so good as it's baking. It might draw a crowd. Like many other edibles, I find it hard to only eat a little. It's so tempting to keep eating it, I have to truly monitor myself.

Oh my gosh, if my grandmother knew what I was doing to her family banana bread recipe. I don't know how she would feel about it. Hopefully she'd try a piece with a grin. It is absolutely the most delicious thing you have ever eaten. Just take one piece though the potency is really strong.

Oh wow when I added the cannabutter to my mom's recipe for banana bread it was beyond delicious. The texture, the potency, everything you could possibly want in a wonderful slice of bread. The amount of THC in the cannabutter must be extremely high :) because one slice left me totally happy on the sofa, relaxed like I don't know what.

I love banana bread but the one I got that was infused with cannabutter was really dry, probably just the recipe. I don't know but I am looking forward to making my own to see if that is any better.

I think banana bread rocks. I have yet to find any that tasted very good when it comes to medical marijuana banana bread, but plan on trying to make it myself and see if I can't make one thats any good.

Making great bread is pretty hard and so is this recipe, but if you are a skilled cook then go for it. I've had too many dry and overly-buttery pieces of bread to try this.

This was a great recipe, it was like some of the best bread ever. I think next time I try I will do as lindzzz said and put cannabis-infused chocolate drizzled on the top of it. What an awesome treat. Yum, Yum. Great stuff.

This is similar to a recipe I know called 'Marijuanana Bread' but the difference is that there is also almond extract in addition to the vanilla extract. I would recommend adding that, but otherwise this sounds like it would go great with some cannabis-infused chocolate drizzled on top!

I like to use walnuts and some fine keef with my Banana Nut Bread recipe. I learned a good trick that works well to keep the bread from becoming too dry. Simply add 1/2 of a cubed nectarine to the mix and you'll be surprised how super moist it is.

I've had banana bread with walnuts and some with weed. Will take the weed any day. Tried it a couple different places one was a little dry, but the other was like it came right out of granny's kitchen. Everyone should treat theirselves once in a while.

Just making me write about the banana bread makes me want more now. It truly changed my mom's banana bread and brought it into the new world. The cannabis butter truly added to my enjoyment of a childhood favorite. But really if you don't know how to make a real good normal banana bread, then definitely don't let them make your pot bread. Nasty. But with a good cook, a good recipe, then you will love the potential to have when you want a tasty treat.

Let me start first by saying I love Banana Bread. However, when I tried this It made me feel ill. It had a horrible taste and gave me a sick feeling in my stomach. I do not know if it was the way they made it or just a bad mixture for my taste buds, but I wouldn't recommend it.

A culinary skilled friend of mine made this once, and wow! They made it potent enough so that the effects were still there but made it with a little bit of cinnamon to make it a delicious treat as well. If you can't make it yourself, I advise you strongly to get someone who does know how to make a non edible version of the food already before adding in that extra kick.
