This collective, on trendy Abbott Kinney, is a dispensary and part art gallery. The walls are covered with eclectic abstracts, pop art, urban art, as well as featuring a new series of art style each month. The layout is extremely relaxed and open. They offer different smoking accessories like rolling papers, vape pens, vape pen replacement indica/sativa cartridges, and small glass pipes and bubblers. Their glass is hand-blown but can run you around $25 or $50 for one. They have over 20 different types of edibles that are priced around an average $12. Their flower is extremely well groomed and fragrant, but extremely overpriced. The jars are filled to the brim with gorgeous groomed nugs in each of their showcases. The strains are the usual popular premium strains you’d find at other upscale more exclusive clubs: Skywalker OG, Kushberry, Blackberyy Kush, Pineapple Express, and Bubba Kush. Grams can run from $20-$22, 1/8th’s run at $70, even around $300 for ½ oz! In my opinion, they’re expensive because they’re in posh Abbott Kinney, which somehow gives them an excuse to be more ‘upscale’. First time patients get a free edible and are also encouraged to come to their Friday “happier hours” where they serve snacks and have live music. I have never been back after my first time, but it would be an interesting thing to try out. Once patients join, they’re also encouraged to use their delivery service where patients can order whatever they’d like off their website 99collective.com. They don’t have their own parking but there are metered spaces behind their block off of Electric Ave.
