Granny purps is owned and operated by Jeffery David Sudman hiding like a coward behind the name JD Black who id a convicted child rapist of a 12 year old little girl. a real sick person. Ive lived in Santa Cruz my whole life and want this scum bag dispensary gone from our community, please stop doing business there, stand against these people and buy your weed else where from good people. Also from a good source one of his own family members says he hired a MS-13 Mexican gang member named Jose to to manage Granny Purps and to be his thug to protect him from the people he's ripped of weed from and those he's refused to pay 1000$ of dollars to that he owes and from who ever might be coming after him for being a child rapist. Who is always armed with concealed firearms. even his own family members are afraid to go in there, go there and risk your life getting caught in the middle of a shoot out. And after further investigation Ive found that all granny poops edibles are made at there house in the garage where there are as many as 10 dogs and cats also infested with rats and mice, you could be eating dog and cat dander or rat and mice poop, YUCK, You might as well call this place granny poops. I give this place a five star nasty. also jeffery hides behind an old woman Kay Black called granny, Jeffery lives at 115 Vista Grande Aptos calif, 95003, The closest person to him says she's ashamed of him and wants him gone as also, not his wife either a woman who came forward says she's been having an affair with him for the past three years and just found out who he really is and called him another Harvey Weinstein. she says he keeps harassing her so she called the police. leave Kitty alone Jeffery

Awesome flowers and a $45 price cap. Some of the cheapest clones in California. What is not to love. This place really is one of the best I have been to

these guys are jank as fuck. good bud, good concentrate, just really high prices and a unfriendly atmosphere. The budtenders dont like to talk about the bud or concentrate, and it's obvious the people behind it all don't really care for cannabis or its "patients" but wish to reap the profits of it's sale.

Great place. Not sure why someone would call it ghetto. I am pretty sure they are the only legally zoned club in SC. I personally love the environment. Security is a necessity. I was robbed at a club in L.A., so I don't mind getting a minor wand down. These are probably the nicest folks I have come across in the industry. Answer questions, help the community. The meds are top notch, and lower in price then the other clubs in the area. Clones are the best around...hands down.

Although this place is generously involved with the community, in terms of donating samples at food drives and such, this place is hard to find from the main road. It's located behind SC41 Furniture Store. Parking was easy and once I entered the place, the staff were friendly enough. The place is ghetto though, they have security with wands who want to scan you and the staff seem suspicious, only one other place I've been to gave me this feeling. Edibles are one of a king and strains are in line with what they should be. I don't like this type of environment. It doesn't have the friendly collective feeling that I look for in a medicinal center, rather it seems like a corner vending machine.

I recently picked up an eighth of the AfGoo at Grannys and Im loving its quality and taste. It has a real smooth hit and was definitely strong on the indica side. I also bought a serving of their delicious banana ice cream, which was supposed to be 2-4 doses but didnt hit me too hard. Regardless, it was extremely tasty but not as potent as some edibles. The budtender at Grannys gave me a free pre-roll that was probably a gram. The budtender was very helpful and friendly, although she got angry when I touched the meds. Customer service is fairly friendly. The building itself is somewhat hard to find. Overall, Grannys is a really solid dispensary with high quality meds and a tasty assortment of edibles.

Granny Purps Summary: Granny Purps offers quick service and good selection. They have healthy looking clones and seeds available. The Granny Purps brand is based on a granny that cooks edibles that taste great. One of the better dispensaries in the Santa Cruz area. Review: Not visible from the road, but easy to get to once you know where it is. Parking is easy. Theres a guard and a receptionist, both courteous gentlemen. Empty your pockets, be scanned with a handheld detector, and fill out new patient paperwork while your prescriptions checked. Verification took about three minutes before heading into the medicine room. A long rectangular room greets you, with lots of counter space and local art for sale on the walls. Clones are on display behind the counter. They looked very healthy and green, with about five strains available including Santa Cruz Kush and a Skunk variety. Granny Purps is the founder of this dispensary and has been featured in the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Shes an expert baker and her edibles are well reputed in the community. That said, there was a good edible selection and first visit freebies are usually a snickerdoodle cookie. Flower-wise, theres about four sativa varieties available, and six or seven indica strains. Most of the hybrids, about eight or so, are sativa leaning. All strains are represented in small counter top jars that youre free to inspect. They have several types of seeds made by Humboldt growers. The bud tender was polite but wasnt engaging. This may have been due to a customer waiting in a chair by the door, but shouldnt have mattered since shopping time was less than 5 minutes. Purchases are done on detailed POS system.
