Planned an entire trip around seeing this place. It is more of a tourist attraction I felt than anything else. Everyone should at least see it once in their travels. Location was pretty decent, we had to park a ways from the shop which was okay it was a pretty day for a walk and the area was real cool. The staff is really friendly and enjoy making you feel welcome. The selection is not real big, but the fact you can medicate in their lounge is real awesome especially if you are shopping. Worth taking a look at if you are any where near.

I drove down especially to check this place out, just as I had heard it was one of a kind experience that was worth it. They have a room you can use a vaporizer in and enjoy the whole thing. It is more like taking a trip to disney world for those of us who need the medicine. Give them a try if you are ever able to.

With this great coffee shop there is a nice volcano lounge area where you can really enjoy your medicine. It is really a great way to pick up your medicine everyday. The place is themed in a European Amsterdam style which really adds to the quality of the place. The staff there is very friendly and makes you feel really welcome at the place. After signing in at the door you go into an area where you pick something off the menu and then pay in cash. There is also an ATM nearby which makes it quite convenient. You then just go to the coffee counter to get your medicine and there is no need to wait after that.

While alot of people have referred to this place as a slight parallel to the coffee shops in Amsterdam, I find it nothing of the sort.
While it does have that hole in the wall feel, the atmosphere is nothing compared to Amsterdam.
The place does have an old school feel. If you are sick of all these new cannibus clubs that strive to produce the most product and use the quickest technology then you might want to check this out.
The staff is friendly. For such a small shop they dont make you wait very long to recieve your buds or edibles.
There menu of edibles was better than alot of larger clubs in the bay area. Why it was better is because they had unique things such as a 6x cannibus health smoothie which I got. It was cold out of the fridge when she gave it to me. While I usually doubt edibles, I drank the mix and it tasted wonderful and got me blasted.
There selection of buds was nothing special. They have good buds for pretty standard prices. If I was looking to buy alot of buds I would recommend making the drive up to BPG for better values.

If your looking for some unique edibles or are sick of the fast paced large clubs in other cities, check out Blue Sky Coffee Shop.

What a way to pick up your meds everyday. This is a toal Euro fashioned environment with the progressive atttitude of the green culture. FYI, patients must be 21 and there is a volcano lounge area inside where patients can use their medicine.

I love being able to enjoy this type of environment when going to pick up my medication, it takes my mind off of any ailments and immediately uplifts my pharmacy experience. The people here are totally friendly, congenial and savvy about what they're doing. Unlike many places, like in L.A., these people actually seem like they enjoy doing a community services rather than a community favor. Friends and family (adults) cannot join you while you make your purchase but they are permitted to wait in the reception area.

Aside from clones and flowers; lavendar, Sour Diesel and Grand Daddy Purple, patients can pick up ear wax, concentrates, kief and edibles like Mexican wedding cakes (little balled up cookies), ice-cream, cookies and brownies.

The quality of the products are top notch in terms of manicure and potency, prices are okay, not the best or worst. Parking is doable. Coffee is the greatest I've seen at any dispensary, you can get a regular or a fancy drink like a mocha.

This was the first dispensary I went to immediately after getting my doctor's recommendation. It is near the 19th street BART exit and there is a parking lot next to Oaksterdam University two blocks down. It is modeled after the coffee shops of Amersterdam with a functioning coffee counter up front and the medical marijuana at the back. Cash only, they have an ATM. The staff was friendly and gave me directions after I signed in at door. You then proceed to a small waiting room to pick something off the menu and pay. Then you go back to the coffee counter with your order and get your medicine. If you already know what you want, just tell them and you won't have to wait.

Some people complain that the menu and number of strains is small, but it rotates and so do the edible flavors. They had prerolled joints, tinctures, hash and flowers, clones. So far I have only tried their edibles. The $10 10xdose edibles are good but I rate them more around an 8xdose in effectiveness for me (165lb, male).

Anyone who can’t afford a trip to Amsterdam should head instead to Oaksterdam and hit up the Blue Sky Coffee Shop for a little taste of the Dutch “coffee shops.” I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite place but the whole concept really reminded me of Amsterdam. First off, it’s a great place to go if you are with someone who isn’t a patient. They can grab a latte while you are ushered to the back room to check out the meds. Ok this room is tiny and cramped and you order through an impersonal window. And the worst part? There are only 3 strains to choose from. That’s right, three. And they are strangely presented to you in a binder. Not very appealing. This does make the selection process quick and simple, however. And they are all decent quality. As far as price goes, they are all $40 plus tax for a grand total of $44. Not bad. They also sell edibles, tinctures, hash, hash oils, clones and seeds. All of the people working here, sans the doorman, were suuuper chill and laid back. Guess they’ve been sampling the goods :) If you go, you may have to circle the block as its all meters. But there was a garage nearby that I parked in. And they are a cash only business. All in all, an interesting experience at best.
