With a name like Fountain of Well Being it's nice that this place actually does live up to the name. You can feel quite at home here as the friendly staff takes care of all your questions and needs. Good donation prices here for high quality meds. A good spot to stop if you're in the Hollywood area.

The Fountain of Well Being is a great spot with high quality buds and hashish, and $45 CAP!!! With LOTS on the shelf!!! Cool, laid back environment; kinda feels like you're going to a friends house. Staff is cool, friendly and pretty knowledgeable on their products; plus it's nice to have the option to split up your eights with different strains. Also, be sure to chill in their smoke lounge, either the front smoke-room, back smoke-room or chill outside on their shaded patio (don't forget to ask for a sample to try). Plus, for those who have friends/drivers without a patient license they can chill in the front patio with their security guard who is real cool too. The parking is on the smaller side but lots of street parking (kinda on a busy street) but this spot is well worth it.

I looked at most of their top shelf and saw a few nice strains. They had a decent selection of OGs that were slightly above average with the JR Private Reserve standing out. It's a Sativa dominant OG that smelled nice. I was looking for a non OG Indica and went with the budtender's recommendation of Snoop's Master Kush. One unique feature about Little Amsterdam is their sampling policy. They allow you to purchase small samples of anything they carry to try on site or take with you to go. The samples are $3 for a hit and $5 for a vapor. I love this idea and wish more places would add it. Below are my impressions of the Snoop's Master Kush:

I have mixed feelings about this place but regardless I will be back eventually. So I went here for the fist time a couple months ago and the processing was quick, the staff were very friendly, and it was very clean inside. Its an old house and felt very comfortable to be in. The parking is weird but who cares Silverlake has terrible parking anyways. So the MEDICINE room has SOOOOO many strains. I have seen that kind of setup before with Little Amsterdam, but their meds were as if they harvested the herbs over a year ago, let them mold, and wipe the trichomes up and down their asshole. This was not the case with Fountain Of Well Being. They're very on top of their medications' quality. Everything was priced relatively right and all the strains were fresh. I like how they take pride in making the atmosphere seem legitimately about Medication and not drugs. They dont like their patients using words such as "Sales," "Price," "Cost," "How much," etc... I think that looks EXTREMELY professional. I hate going to other dispensaries that have limited staff who are all stoned and won't listen to anything.I donated $22 for a gram of SFV OG. I know this sounds ridiculously too much, but if you saw the crystals, fragrance, and quality of this flower you would have donated for it too. It was very potent. Plus they threw a free whole gram pre-roll in with it so I quickly became very satisfied.Thanks Fountain Of Well Being! :-)

Fountain is a great spot, traveled often by locals here in Hollywood. This collective will make you feel at home for sure. It's a cute typical old Hollywood style house that's been from a sun room to a weed show casing room. I like the vibe cause it's fun, not necessarily clinically professional but fun like summertime.

The products are impressive and are heavily stocked. Indicas, Sativas and Hybrids saturate the menu with special meds like Og Bubba, Privatre Reserve, the infamous Grandaddy Purple, Blueberry Kush, Purple Urkle, Hindoo Goo (whoa)and tons more. Here's the $10 gram list, Blueberry Dream, 415 purps (keeper, it's a steal) and random Indica shake. Sativas are brands like Cheese, a gram for less than $20 and the same goes for Jack Frost, Shiva Skunk, Green Goddess (only $13)and a tape worm's list more.

Edibles, I haven't yet seen a list to compete with this one. Prices ranging from 45 on caps, Kief and Hash oil concentrates and capsules for $25. The candy shop is stocked with Health bars, fudge, caramel, peanut buter, brownies, weedranchers, vegan raw pyramid chocolate (unheard of) and more. Other concentrates are super impressive also with a stock of Blue Dream Extreme Wax, Og Full Melt, Honey Oil Og, Og Toast, Trainwreck Bubble Hash, Red Eye Og Wax and the list goes on. I could go on all night, they've got Drinks like fruit punch (Maui Wowi) and sodas, an assortment.

The hash bar is readily available to visitng patients. Overall, it's a quality good place. The vibe and prices are collective like, but I'd say it is a dispensary, just a really friendly low key down to earth one.
