I love Sawtelle Blvd, but I don’t love this place. I walked through the buzzing double doors to get into the waiting room to register and met a quiet Anthony Keidis look-a-like. After waiting 10 minutes to get registered, I was developing the impression that this was his own shop when I saw him with his dog and then put his own lunch food and groceries in the edible fridge. The flower was astronomically over priced, with no decent grams under $25 or 1/8th’s under $70. He only had about 8 different jars of flower all together and a lame edible assortment of a peanut butter cup chocolate cake and dark chocolate. I ended up saying I wasn’t expecting the donations to be so high, asked if I could come back to go to the ATM, but never came back. They are a pre-ico dispensary and unfortunately have stuck around since new ordinance has come into play in LA, but don’t waste your time. They’re in a great Japanese neighborhood in the heart of Sawtelle but it’s not worth my time going back to them when there are better collectives on the street.
