Honey Bud

Honey bud is basically primo bud nugs that have been coated with hash oil, then rolled around in a container of dry hash, and finally dipped in or covered with the THC-concentrated hash oil once again. Authentic honey bud is made by employing a butane extraction process, not using isopropyl alcohol. The butane extraction process is far more dangerous than the qwiso method and not recommended for novice experimentation.

Honey oil is a type of hash oil, a bit inferior to ever-so-rare white hash oil, yet still mind-blowingly satisfying. Hash oil, honey oil and hashish itself are all very potent (up to 80% concentrated THC). S use caution and respect when self-administering this powerful medicine. Do so only when in for the day and with absolutely no necessity to operate machinery (or much of anything else). Couchlock is a distinct possibility.

I found that the buds used in honey buds are low grade covered in the oil to look crazy, nothing special it looks cool but not worth it.

hey Rastaman - r u nuts?! Only a 2 rating? I've never tried honey bud, but the description above sounds like it kicks much ass. Wow - you must have the tolerance of Bob Marley. Toke on Rastaman! I'm rating it a 5 just to offset your extremely harsh judgment!

I'm going to have to agree with the description. In my own experience, honey bud is an incredible treat. I have always had honey bud that was made with high-grade or top-shelf medication and extremely potent concentrates. I usually pay between $30 and $35 a gram for it. I recommend it highly, but be prepared for insatiable munchies. Also, the description says "couchlock is a distinct possibility." This is likely an understatement. It's likely if you have never tried it or are new to it couchlock is almost a certainty.

the quality of the nug really doesn't matter too much if you're making honey bud right, mr. "2 stars". it's BHO, kief/co2 powder, then more BHO on the outside. if you think that the nug serves any purpose other than to make the bho more manageable. you've probably never even seen honey bud. novice.

It's true that Honey Buds are a great way to spice up no-so-good weed, but it can also take great weed to another level. I purchased some Pineapple strain that was coated in Hash Oil from the same variety. It was incredible. Super strong and seemed to burn for a long time. I have added Hash Oil to bowls before and it always ended up being a sticky mess. Putting a perfectly sized Honey Bud in the bong was less work and well worth the price.

I have had this stuff before except the dispensaries I go to call it caviar and It sometimes comes rolled in keif after being dipped in Hash oil. It is just about what you think it would be... A super Heady bowl. Give it a try it's worth paying for at least once. I think I have seen in around Denver for 30/gr.

I picked up some honey bud from pallative health care in san jose about a week ago. (Look at the top and click dispensaries to find a place to get some honeybud)

It was amazing
The budtender pulled out a very small nug and asked me how much I thought it would weigh, the nug was about the size of a nickel so I guessed around .4 grams. He put the nug on the scale and it showed a solid 1.0 grams. This stuff is just a pure mixture of very good weed, very good keif, and very good hash oil mixed into one delicious potent substance.
I highly recommend it.

ok i just tried honeybud, 1st of all i tried it 2 different ways. in this review i will rate them both...we rolled it into a blunt, and let me tell ya...it wasnt easy lol. the bud stickiness made it burn hella slow and gave GREAT hits. where as when we put it into a bowl, it started to almost sizzle...and for some reason with the blunt we could taste the bud but with the pipe i could taste the oil more...

loved it both ways...i think this became my new favorite concentrate!

An extremely strong and unique flavor. An immediate rush of sour chemdawg taste followed by a lingering sour, piny and lemony taste, reminiscent of pine sol. Refined heavy musky carmalesque scent with hints of pine. Unique. Tremendously potent, immediate head rush and tingling sensations in the body. Mellow body and slight cerebral high at first, transitioning into a strong body stone centered in the chest.

Honey Buds are basically an extension of hash oil, a great idea to make some honey nuggs if you have some oil and some nugs laying around. There are only a couple drawbacks to the honey buds. first of all they are extremely sticky, so I don't recommend making them unless your going to smoke em right then. Also I wouldn't recommend using any particularly tasty weed, cause this technique will kill the original flavor of your buds. Adversely, you will get about 20x higher than honeyless bud so the choices are us to you.

My old friend the Hippie is such a jewel he makes this and wow oh wow is it simply heaven in a little sticky treat. I absolutely love it, but remember small doses are about all you need. And as far as operating anything forget about it.

i don't understand how this wasn't the first variation of hash oil ever created. why would the original tinker-er have seperated the oil and not thought immediately to reconstitute it into raw fresh premium buds? simply a Xx extraction... and yes, it's easy to make at home with ISO or Butane, and it's a phenomenal smokey treat. Smoking it all day, however, nearly impossible without frequent naps. when you do smoke this stuff, have nothing important planned. :)
