Two months ago, American Express began refusing to process MMJ purchases at legal dispensaries. The Young Turks heard about this and ran a story. It’s bad enough that many banks are refusing dispensary business, but where does a credit card company get off deciding what customers are allowed to spend on?

I guess a lot of patients will be switching to Discover huh? Like the commercial says.
American Express has no right to say what people can use the card to buy. They don’t say that when you apply for the card, and if they deem it wise to give you a line of credit, you should use it however you see fit.
